I love IceBreaker apparel. I discovered them at EMS when the store was located just south of Houston Street, circa. 2004-05 (?). The colors this season (2017) are fantastic and the staff is friendly and willing to help you look for what you need. The touch lab is well stocked and they have sales that come on relatively regularly, but even with the sales its a luxury item. I still have my first 3 base layers that I originally bought an I wear them all year round for all of my travels. The quality is superb and the anti-odor function of Merino Wool is amaze-balls. Ive tested my gear a few times, which includes wearing the same base layer for 9 months through marathon training (20+ miles) and not washing it once. There were thick salt stains, but the gear never smelled bad. Even though IB encourages machine washing I hand washed my base layer after the experiment and it was definitely gritty, but the key thing is that there was no odor. 9 months, no washing and I regularly sweat 5-10 lbs of fluid through each training session.

I came across icebreaker clothing after reading up on a travelers blog with very positive reviews. The clothes are expensive, but definitely worth the price. These clothes are perfect for the traveler and the active. I bought myself socks, base layers, and a hoodie for running. And without a doubt they are excellent. The clothes are warm, light, breathable, and dont smell. I could not be more satisfied. The staff there are very helpful as well. Ill definitely buy more of their clothes in the future.

I love Icebreaker! Their stuff lasts forever. I run ultramarathons so I go through a ton of running clothes, but the Icebreaker pieces I own are worth every penny. Sometimes they have sales and promotions, so be on the lookout for those.
