I ordered a gift basket to be delivered to a Flushing hotel for my relatives visiting the U.S. for the first time. I live out of state and was not able to meet them at JFK. I knew they would appreciate some fruit and snacks after a long day of flying, so I did a little online research and decided Marino Bros. would be the right choice considering the location of their hotel. I also felt that my relatives may not be motivated to venture out for shopping immediately upon arrival. I spoke to a very nice Italian sounding lady and another gentleman and explained the circumstance. I chose a small gift basket, which turned out to be not small at all based on the comments of my relatives. The basket had a very generous assortment of fresh fruit, crackers, candy and cookies. The basket itself was also beautiful! Thanks Marino Brothers!!!

This is one of the few Italian focused supermarkets left in the flushing /whitestone area. I know many locals come here for their daily needs. I include myself in that category. Prices are reasonable and they have a wide variety of cheeses and meats in their deli section. If you are trying to grab lunch on a budget for work/school Id recommend coming here as you will get a foot long hero thats pretty substantial (no skimping on the meat here!) For around $5.50-8 depending on what you get. Big plus for having friendly staff overall.

BEST! I just rediscovered Marinos . Recently retired after going to Bowne Park and passing Marinos a bit far from my home. Worth the drive! Helpful team working at Marinos! The frozen shrimp excellent. The fresh fruit exemplary. Superb deli choices. Best service! One thing very important to me, THE PLASTIC BASKETS FOR GATHERING SHOPPING ITEMS ARE SOOO CLEAN! Oh yes, the cashiers are efficient, welcoming and helpful! KUDOS TO ALL AT MARINOS! THANK YOU, MARINOS!!!

The groceries are good. The cooked deli food is good. The Italian specialties are very good. There are a lot of staff working here and theyre all very nice and helpful. I always feel like I get what I pay for here. What more could you ask for. Oh yeah. Consistent too. Ive been coming here for 15 years and have never been disappointed. Thanks Marinos.

Best neighborhood supermarket!! They are always busy because they sell very fresh products (meat, poultry, fruits, vegetables...). Delivery trucks comes in every single morning to restock the supplies. The deli by the entrance have a good selection of cold cuts, cheese, and very tasty prepared food.

Yes, I just started going to this small local market for my food. It always has some weekly specials every week. So I do take advantage of that. It is also a friendly place, the cashiers mostly operated by the family people treating their customers like friends. Good experience over all!
