My experience today at West Long Branch was the typical incompetence that is usual for this pharmacy they never have mine or my husbands prescriptions ready days after the doctor sends the order. What made today even more aggravating was the nasty condescending attitude of the pharmacist who told me her name was Mita Shaw after requesting her credentials which she refused to provide (I assume she is not licensed with the state because she refused to provide her license credentials upon request) I guess Wal green now doesnt even follow the laws and gets away with it. She did provide me with the business card of the pharmacy manager Rochelle Philips who never returns calls and the 800 customer complaint service center has no idea who she is. So lets add providing me with false information about her supervision to the list of blatant lies told by Ms. Shaw. If honesty is something you desire in a pharmacist I would steer clear of Wal greens and Mita Shaw.

Im usually very unhappy with the overall service I receive at this Walgreens. Although its conveniently open 24/7, I often avoid shopping here unless its the middle of the night. The pharmacists (not the techs who ring you up , but the actual Pharmacists) are generally unfriendly. Ive been given an attitude multiple times when standing in the Consultation Line and have waited over 45 minutes to be helped when I could see the pharmacist sitting in eyesight on her phone. They are unpleasant and get annoyed when you have any kind of question about your prescription or an OTC product. Also, there is always a horrific wait in check out, usually due to understaffing.

This is a typical walgreens. The wait for prescription pickup and drop off is usually very long. I have waited for almost 30 minutes to pick up a prescription only to find out that it is not available or not ready, even the next day pickup. There have been occasions that the Rx called in was not picked up from the phone messages , hours after it was called in. The usually uncomplicated pickup is about 10 minutes, off hours. The pharmacy is almost always understaffed. The location is very inconvenient as it requires an illegal left turn, U-turn or an extra 5 minute drive if you come from the south.

What bothers me most is that my doctor will send over e-scripts and theyre never ready when I go to pick them up, even up to an hour after I leave the doctor. Maybe its my fault for expecting e-scripts to expedite things. Ive taken to waiting until the next day if possible so I dont have to sit around at the pharmacy waiting. Additionally, I avoid shopping at this location because there always seems to be long lines at the register, and there are other stores I know will move more quickly.

This pharmacy stopped taking a certain insurance company that my Mom has. So, we were told to call a different pharmacy that accepts our insurance and ask them to call Walgreens to get the escript sent over. We waited an hour after doing so and it turns out that Walgreens never returned or answered any of the calls from the new pharmacy. It was very difficult to rearrange this over the phone. Unpleasant experience.

Me and my family, called asked if the photo printer worked, one of the employees said yes, everything was fine we came in we were about to print when we noticed it wasnt working, Im just wondering why you cant check the machine to see if it actually works before you just jump in and say yes it does!!!! Make sure it doesnt happen again Thank you

Larry is very nice and helpful. The woman who works in cosmetics, I believe her name is Sophie, a complete and wonderful gem! Dealing with someone who does not want to help is like pulling ones eyeball through ones nostril so I am thankful for Larry and the woman who runs the cosmetics section... :)

I purchased chicken fingers and buffalo wings from them along with other food. These items were over cooked and if they took pride in their food they would never have even given them to me. I was very disappointed.

This pharmacy is terrible. Theyre never prepared with my prescription. Always waiting a long time to receiving it. Also, every time ive been there, they have always given me problems. Theyre very rude as well.
