Walking into big lots was greeted my a putrid stench that reminded me of a homeless person. As I walked back to the furniture section to purchase a $600.00 fireplace I patiently waited for assistance. After waiting 15 minutes I grabbed a big lots associate that was putting away merchandise he politely told me he would get me assistance. I went back to patiently waiting ( 10 minutes later ) I noticed a furniture employee talking on his phone. Trying not to be disrespectful I waited 20 minutes for his to finish up his phone call. Hes a tall skinny African American man. He never completed his phone call so I walked up to the cashier to see if she can assist me. She told me she could. She also told me that the man on the phone believe it or not was the supervisior of that dept. Long story short I never got to buy the fireplace for my mother for Christmas . Im very disappointed and I expect to be contacted back because Im still interested in the fireplace even though customer service was fuckery.

Love this store. You can buy everything here. Kitchenware, furniture, food, electronics and more all under one roof. At prices even Walmart cant beat! Selection is limited but well worth taking a look. You never know what you migh find!
