Always went to Elegant eyes in Newark to purchase my glasses, but never again!! I was so disappointed with them!! They have definitely lost a customer!! Purchased my glasses previously with them before for 80.00 dollars, but this time they came to 180.00 they werent even designer frames!!! Plus when the insurance papers came to my house it stated that I ordered photochromatic witch are the lenses that darken, when I called them the manager in charge said oh sorry your order was written up wrong, when I stated I had only paid 80.00 for my glasses last time she told me to hold on when she came back to the phone she said sorry that was written up wrong too!!! Talk to the insurance company she stated they was supposed to be more explicit on their prices and what they have to offer, standard, premium or what have you, which they dont do at all!!! Definitely wont get any more of my hard earned money!!!!

I have been about 3 times because I like walk in appointments and EVERY time the workers were very rude. They rush everything with the clients unless your paying cash. When choosing the frames they are pretty expensive and if you have insurance or Medicaid, you have to select from a case with about 10 frames on it. The customer service is not up to par. I personally wouldnt go again and my last visit confirmed it. If in the area try Pink Visions on Clinton Ave. Best wishes!

The one at Newark and the other one at east orange have the rudest workers ever.They are always in a hurry to get you to pay first & if you havent paid or havent decided they completely ignore and treat u like trash.They mostly focus on accepting the payment of new customers and ignore those that paid or still deciding.THEYRE FAST TO ACCEPT MONEY& SLOW TO SERVICE.

I went to another eye DR because the eyeglasses I got form Elegant Eyes were not helping me see better. The DR took a look at the glasses I got from Elegant Eyes and saw the lenses were put in the frames wrong for my eyes. The lens are backwards from my eyes examine. How can they do that with someone eye sight. Horrible place

This place usually is slow an expensive far as glasses go glasses lenses with anti-glare were 75 dollars not counting the frame. Also examination equipment and examination area need to be updated for prices their charging for glasses this place should be updated

I was just coming in to pick up my contacts. The waiting area was empty so I knew I would be able to get in and keep it moving. The ladies were so nice and told me about a rebate program. Sure Ill take $100 easy money.

Sometimes its packed and the frames you get depend on your insurance so its trash most times. But Im been going there for years and it gets the job done.
