I ordered a grande grasshopper frapp and the cashier lady told me " I have no idea what that is, you need to tell me what you want in it." I told her, " uh.. mocha frapp with mint sirup with chocolate chip?" and then I gave her my name. I end up ordering a grande grasshopper and a tall mocha cookie crumble frapp. After she charged me, she called out for the next customer, I intruded if she had my receipt. She actually told me, "move back and wait, I need to take care of another customer." So I had to wait next to the customer that was behind me, finally I was given my receipt. After about 5 min wait, there was a grande frapp on the table that looked like a greenish brown biochemical waste with "no name" she said. I patiently waited for another 15 min till i finally confirmed they messed up my order. I confronted her that my orders were missing and showed her my receipt (thank god I waited for the receipt). She pointed to the bio waste in the center of the table that no one had picked up and told this is my first order and the second order was missing. She quickly snatched someone elses tall mocha cookie crumble freshmade off the line and handed it to me. Of course at this point I took it and left when she turned her back on me to work on the next order... After I tasted my grasshopper it literally tasted like cold chocolate milk with some greentea and chocolate chip with a near fluid consistency(Ive been to starbucks in different US states and different countries, this was my worst starbuck experience in my life, this starbucks store on george street in downtown new brunswick NJ is the worst starbucks ever). My friends mocha cookie crumble was normal. I cannot express how irritated and disappointed I am right now. Starbucks, youve lost me and some friends who were with me. But I will give you another chance... after a good 5 months from today...

If you are in the New Brunswick area, and are in need of your healthy dose of Starbucks, this is the coffeehouse to go to. Great staff all day round, who are very diligent when it comes to making beverages. Even during Frappuccino Happy Hour (which is usually the most hectic time for any Starbucks store, so be patient whenever youre in one during this time of the year) they will get your drink done. This location is exceptionally better than any other in the area because of the Clover machine. The Clover is a brewer that makes one cup of coffee at a time, which makes the coffee taste superior to drip coffee. Combine that with the great selection of Starbucks Reserved coffee beans and you have a range of flavors to try. The Clover is only in select stores, though, and this one is one of them. There is free WIFI that can be easily accessed by opening a browser and agreeing to the terms (easy stuff). There is ambient music playing, just like in any other Starbucks. Im not a barista at this store, nor have I ever worked at any Starbucks store. But, as a local, I can say that as long as you dont try to order from the "Starbucks Secret Menu", you will be fine. And that goes for every other Starbucks store in the world.

The coffee and service is great and the workers have never given me a problem. However the store itself is a mess most of the time since the staff doesnt seem to like to clean the immediate store area or the bathrooms. Also, half of the customers are either homeless people from New Brunswick who take up seats and/or crazy middle aged weirdos who talk to themselves. If it were up to me I wouldnt even let these people in the store since most of the time they dont even buy a drink and just take up space. There are other starbucks where the atmosphere is much nicer and you wont stain your shirt with coffee by leaning onto the table because its not clean.

I love Starbucks, but Ive had too many bad experiences to ever go back. The baristas are wonderful for the most part, but the last few times I went there was this short woman with green hair who was just horrible for no reason... first time, she made my drink wrong, and when I asked her to make it again she gave me an attitude. Second time, she was at the register and wrote my order wrong on the cup. I know she is not the norm for Starbucks - as a regular I love their menu and typical service standard, but she has to get some people skills. East Brunswick and North Brunswick have exemplary staff and service, which are now my regular locations.

This is the first SB Ive been to that feels like a local coffee shop. The staff are pretty good. The one time we had a problem with a staff person, the local manager called us personally to apologize and we got a bunch of free coffee coupons from the corporate office. Every one that works there is friendly and fast. I go there probably 3 times a week. Just wish they didnt get rid of their comfy chairs.

This was my first time visiting this starbucks and probably my last. The staff was rude to me for no particular reason and they did not seem very concerned with keeping the place tidy or orderly. At least now I know to go to the barnes and noble cafe a few blocks north of here should I want a starbucks fix.

I have been to Starbucks before, but have always been so lost in terms of choosing menu options. So I go elsewhere. Today I decided to try again And I loved the experience. The barrista walked me Thru and with her knowledge I was able to get What I needed. Thank you AM. Crew... 09/14/16

In many ways like your average Starbucks. Theyve screwed up my order in some way each time Ive been here and even in the early morning they are out of half thier breakfast items. It seems only thier barstool seating is every open.

The manager sees a long line in the mornings but doesnt offer to help her employees. She left one guy to make everyones order and ring them up while she stayed in the back, during their peak time in the morning. Unsatisfactory.

This is your average Starbucks experience. Sometimes the staff is excellent and others they just want to churn folks through. Coffee and pastries are fresh, and it is a great spot in New Brunswick.

Wasnt too bad when I went on memorial day, looking for a place to study. Not enough tables to sit comfortably like most Starbucks but I got one and waited for someone to leave at a better spot.

As a college student, great place to grab coffee and also a place to do work. Great service, friendly and easily accessible by the Rutgers bus system.

I only came in for the bathroom which was clean and fresh and roomy. I had a small coffee on the way out and it was solid Starbucks fare.
