Let me start by saying I only gave one star because I was forced to, in order to post my review. In my opinion, no stars were earned by De Maio Jewelers. Because I wanted to patronize a local business, I recently visited De Maios Jewelers and had a solitaire ring, without side stones, sized up - no metal was added or removed - the shank of the ring was merely stretched. I was charged $75.00, plus tax, and it took close to a week to get back. Since I firmly believe in fair pricing - I will never return to De Maios, nor will I refer anyone to them. I feel like I was overcharged and taken advantage of.

I received a mothers ring as a gift and wore it for 25 years. At one point it broke and without changing the setting, Demaio restored the ring. After wearing it another ten years since then, one stone fell out and was lost. Demaio fixed it at a reasonable price for me. I loved having my ring back! Thank you Demaio!

Sad to say the owner wont fix jewelry. He only wants you to buy his jewelry. He wouldnt even fix a friends MEDICAL bracelet! If that isnt LOW I dont know what is!
