Today I experienced a very rude manager (Moustafa Attia) of the Iselin, NJ QuickChek store #044. I went to get my normal breakfast sandwich but in the QuickChek app it stated Breakfast for $2.99 which consist of Buy any breakfast sandwich & 12oz Tropicana OJ for the total price of $2.99. I ordered my sandwich, retrieved my juice and proceeded to the register to pay. The cashier did not know how to handle the app, so she went to the manager Moustafa, who then asked to see my app and proceeded to scan it after the young lady already scanned it (mind you they only give you so many offers and this one was for 3 offers) he told me I could not get my turkey breakfast sandwich I had to get the sandwich in the picture. I told him I use the apps often and it said any breakfast sandwich, he argued no it was only the one in the picture. I didnt want to argue with him so I just said let me just pay for the sandwich and leave, I told him I would contact corporate because he along with his employees need to know how the apps work when consumers want to use them. I also asked him since they scanned my app how do I get my coupon back and of course he shrugged his shoulders as if to say thats your problem, not mine. I asked for him name, he gave me his first name and I wanted his full name which he had a badge but he turned it over so that I couldnt get the full name because yes I was going to take a picture of the badge. Another customer told me there was a picture and his name on the wall, so I proceeded to get a picture of that just for his full name. I love QuickChek and I like to use the apps but if you have to deal with managers like this I will not patronize this location because all locations are not ran by Rude managers. He does not abide by the QuickChek Mission Statement/Values and maybe he need to attend a class on his manager skills. QuickChek’s mission is the same today as it was when we opened our first store in 1967: to be a Great Place to Work, a Great Place to Shop and A Great Place to Invest. All strategies are grounded in that mission, and guided by these core values. Our company is guided by the principles of Total Customer Dedication, committed to delivering what the customer wants.

I went to quick check after a friend recommended avocado melt sandwich. I must say this is the new Subway if youre looking for a change. I would also wager that the food is more fresh at Quick Chek. If you like spicy and are used to the Southwest Chipotle then try the ghost pepper sauce. The guys behind the counter at this location are very friendly. The store is neat and clean. There is no gas station at this Quick Chek.

FORGET SUBWAY! Q sandwiches are where its at. They load it with meat, the ordering process is so easy with the computers, and they are better priced than Subway.
