First I would like to say, you trust the piercer who is putting a needle through your skin and you trust that they know what they are doing. I went to Arch Angel Tattoo and Piercing in Hillsboro, NH because I won $100 worth of gift certificates there. When we first got there Ray Scott, the owner and piercer, did not have the jewelry, needles, or anything to pierce my snakebites. He had to drive to Concord and told us to come back later. He took forever in Concord making the the excuse that there was "traffic." We came back and he said the piercings were $120, which is WAY over priced. So I sat in the chair and he didnt even sterilized the area before he started piercing and he didnt make me use mouthwash! Then as he was piercing it was so very painful because he went so slow. So slow to the point that it took probably a minute for each piercing just to get the needle through! After that he said he used acrylic, something youre not supposed to use for a new piercing, and did not even tell me the proper cleaning instructions! After that we gave him $120 plus a $10 tip and went on our way. During about a week of having my piercing, IT WAS SO PAINFUL. It felt like constant pinching and pressure. The back of the piercing, which for people who may not know is a flat back for lip piercings, kept getting imbedded in my skin! It would close up around the piercing and I would have to painful pull and push it out. It was also bleeding and very crusty. I knew I had to do something. Yesterday I went to Medusa in Manchester, NH. I trust Medusa because I have gotten 5 piercings there before and I never had a problem with any of them. They are very helpful and know what they are doing. I go in and tell them the whole story. They look at my piercings and say those need to get changed right now to a way bigger barbell. They said that the barbell I had would probably not even fit my lips when they are fully healed and not swollen. I had to pay $20 for that, to get them cleaned and new jewelry. She had to use a clamp to get the piercing to even come out because it was so embedded in my skin. It felt painful when she was pulling them off but once they were off it was such a relief. He also used bio plastic, not acrylic, to use during the healing process! Youre supposed to use a type of metal! At Medusa they said that its pretty rare to have them completely embedded, but if I didnt come when I did, they would have been. I would have had them surgically removed! So if you go to Arch Angel Tattoo and Piercing in Hillsboro, NH for a piercing, leave right then. Ray Scott has NO right putting a needle through someones skin. He should have his license REVOKED!

Went there with my 16 yr old who had saved her money all yr and made honor roll and couldnt wait to get her belly button pierced. Me, being a parent, asked the man behind the counter about the use of new/sterilized needles. I wanted to know if he used "new" needles or sterilized. Instead of simply responding to what seems like a pretty normal question, he flipped out saying he was "offended," He said he couldnt believe I would even ask him such a question and then went on and on badgering me for asking.....saying, "Im a professional." He then stood disgusted- glaring at me and my girls, age 12 and 16 and said, "I dont know what Im going to do about this." I told him "I do" and we left. I also told him that he is a insecure business man- Then went to Medusas at the mall of NH where BEFORE I COULD ASK ABOUT STERILE NEEDLES I was offered the info by PLEASANT workers. The shop was clean, woman running it were pleasant, professional and intelligent- inviting questions- we got to pick out the gem, was suggested solutions for aftercare and my daughter couldnt be happier- BONUS was that it was actually less money at Medusas then what we were quoted at Anacondo. So why go there and pay some crabby guy who is too insecure to invite questions concerning YOUR safety when you can go to Medusas and be treated like a CUSTOMER???

I have gone here for most of my tattoos. I love coming into this shop even to just say Hi to the artists. They are super nice and have great work. I have had work from the two owners of the shop, and I couldnt be happier with the result. I love showing off my new tattoos and I always have a great reaction from friends and strangers. The prices are more than reasonable, and they will always work with you to find something in your price range. If you want to have great work done with a clean shop and friendly people, this is the place to go in concord. Every other place I have gone, they seemed uninterested in what I wanted and blew me off half the time. Anaconda is awesome :D

Went here yesterday with my friend, she was getting a new tattoo and I was getting one that I had gotten at a different place fixed up/redone. Where I got it done before they did a horrible job and I wont go back there! However Anaconda Tattoo and Piercing did a great job fixing it up! My friends loves her new tattoo and I love how Ray fixed mine! It doesnt even look like there was a problem with it before. I definitely recommend having tattoos and piercings here! I will continue to go here for future tattoos! They are very inviting and nice there, they make you feel at home! I cant thank Ray enough for the great job he did!

I enjoy coming to this shop to get Tattoos done as well as to visit and to chit chat. They are very laid back and clean and also up to date on Tattooing. Ray the owner , Kristy C. and Andrew Fraser are artists not just Tattooists. They will work with you to design a piece and come up with a reasonable price that is right for that spot. I have had Kristy C. do qwite a bit of work on me and she is awsome. I would highly recommend her. I would also HIGHLY recommend anyone there.I would say that THE BEST place to go is Anaconda Tattooing & Piercing in Concord N.H. or in Arizona.
