Bait and Switch – we expected more from Bass Pro Shops We bought a 3 night Luxury Vacation from Bass Pro Shops back in the Spring of 2016. Our understanding was they were promoted new resorts for the outdoor traveler. This was not presented as a TimeShare program. We were given a booklet of all different resorts around the country. Since we love the outdoors, we thought this would be a great opportunity to check out one of the resorts. After we got home we thought about where we would like to go and decided on St. Pete Beach, FL. I called to make the reservation and at that time I was told it was to promote a TimeShare program. I told the person on the phone that it was not presented as a TimeShare and she apologized and said they should have never misrepresented the program. I felt this was a "bait and switch" program but the woman on the phone convinced me that this might be a program we would be interested in because we were outdoor people. I booked our 3 night Luxury Vacation on April 28th, 2016 and was sent the information for the BlueGreen Welcome Center St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg Beach, Fl. Since we live in New Jersey, we decided to make a week vacation of it and I booked hotels around our St. Pete Beach stay. I received multiple emails about our stay but it wasnt until Dec. 8th 2016 that I found out we would not be staying at the resort we picked but rather at a Comfort Inn. When I called to ask why we were staying at a Comfort Inn, they told me that the St. Pete Beach resort is only for members. I didnt understand this since we bought a 3 night Luxury Vacation at one of the resorts not a hotel. I was also told the hotel was near the St. Pete Beach resort, it was just not on property. Since my week vacation was already planned with other hotel stays, we decided to make the best of it. We did not get a 3 night vacation at a resort or even in the St. Pete Beach area. We got a 3 night stay at a hotel 25 minutes away in St. Petersburg not St. Pete Beach and it was right next to the highway. There was no luxury about this hotel. Dont fall for this scam!!!

Here is what Bass Pro in Nashville missed out on selling me today and it wasnt because of price! 2X - Remington R-15 VTR Rifle $1149.99 1X - Kimber 45 ACP Super Carry Pro $1549.99 1X - Glock G26 9mm Sub Com - $599.99 TOTAL = $4449.96 They lost this sale not because of price, but because of a very rude elf who seemed to hate that he was working, and then felt the need to tell my wife that she was "not telling the truth". We decided to take our 3 kids to go see Santa as Bass Pro today as we have done religiously for the last 5 years. We live in the South edge of Williamson Co in Spring Hill which means a little over an hour drive each way to get there. We expected the same set up as last year.. Bass Pass to see Santa or Stand in line for a couple hours.. We were ok with standing in line for a couple hours.. No Problem. When we arrived at just after 12:00. We learned that the Bass Passes where gone.. No real surprise there. We told the guy that we would stand in line like we did last year. He replied "you cant do that".. My wife said, "OK, umm we did last year." (We are fine until this next point).. The Elf employee then replied, "You are not telling the truth maam. There is no way you did that last year." My wife who is a VERY VERY patient kind lady replied, "yes sir we did, but if you have changed the rules that is ok." (she gave him the perfect out if he would just shut up). He again said, "Maam, youre just not telling the truth." My wife, who is the most honest truthful person I know, looked very hurt and angry. We just shook our heads and left the store. We took our kids to see Santa at Green Hills Mall, which has a fantastic Santa by the way. I took my family home and proceeded to a local gun store where I made my purchases. While the local gun retailer was 2-3% higher, I was treated like royalty while there! If you are a manager at Bass Pro in Nashville. Please feel free to contact me. Well be happy to make the drive to identify what should be a "former" employee. He cost you guys a good bit today.

Worst Buying Experience ever... Went to Purchase a new Boat when i arrived it was 4:30 And all the Sale person did was ...look at his watch the whole time. A few minutes before 5:00 he left and had other Sales Person show me a Boat I should have left then but i did not. Next Day i called and told them i would be dropping off my boat for Trade in Value, Two Days later after making many calls they came up with a trade in value. When writing the Purchase and Sales they did not reach out to the Bank to find out what the Payoff would be after i gave them a contact at the Bank. Two Days later went there to Pick up new Boat and Brought them a Bank Check assuming they had done their Job. After giving them a check Signing all the Paper work they called me to let me know I owed them and extra 2000.00 dollars. I should have told them to bad paper work was done they signed and i signed, But I’m not a stiff so I went Back and Gave them the Money. They need to learn how to do Paper work and how to sell Boats ... I was going to go to Dover Marine were I purchased my last Boat, But since they were so close i thought i would give them the Sale... Worst mistake i have ever Made. Hookset NH

This is a response to the guy from July 24th 2010. You are obviously one lazy freeloader with a low testosterone level and you probably couldnt make it past your 90 days without having a bunch of absences. You probably never made rate the whole time you worked at Bass Pro. You weak neophyte. You cant get a raise there unless you complete your 90 day probation period. You obviously failed to do that. Sorry you didnt get the chance to develop any gay relationships while you worked at Bass Pro =(

Sell lousy boots that fall apart before 2 dozen wears then make you pay for shipping and dont refund original shipping. I understand that is a common practice but in light of how poorly the boots performed and how short their life was youd expect better. I will never shop with them again. Cabelas you have a new customer.
