I went there about 6 years ago when I was 15 with my mom. I got Gary and my mom got another younger guy who I dont remember his name. Anyways, her tattoo is pretty okay, a couple of shaky lines, but okay. My tattoo, although didnt hurt, is horrible. The lines are shaky, my whole tattoo is scarred, and all the color isnt there. I had a simple design. A nautical star (green and black). I always let people know not to go there. I have been to other tattoo shops and they are shocked at how bad the work is. Whenever I tell them that I got it from Goldenlands, they always say " im not surprised, a lot of people come in here with bad experiences from them." Please, please, please, do NOT waste your money there. Self Inflicted, All Star, TRX, and hell even Trader Bobs has MUCH better artist. I hope my experience will help you in finding a good shop and a good artist. Good luck.

When I went they were not busy, and got started right away on a simple and small tattoo on my right wrist...customer service seemed good, and the "artist" was asking about my design. However, even while wearing magnifying glasses to do the tattoo once it was healed you could see that 1/2 the shaded part was not covered and that he pushed so hard that it actually scarred. Also, the pressure used while tattooing pinched a nerve in my hand and I have yet to regain the feeling in the tips of 2 of my fingers. Unprofessional work...these guys are tattooers not artists. I would not recommend anyone going there...and frankly cant understand how they came so highly recommended.

The prices here are hard to beat which is why I came here but always remember you get what you paid for. I got a simple symbol on my chest and the person seemed more interesting in the large bird cage thats set up in the shop rather then giving me a good quality tattoo. He went to far in the skin and the top and bottom part of the work were blown out. I had to get the tattoo fixed at another shop. I am not going to say avoid this shop. They have been open for a long time so some good work must come from there but I will say make sure you get great customer service because it was lacking at this place. Hopefully they can change that in the future.

Have two tattoos from Goldenlands. If I could do it again, I would have gone elsewhere, and I went to another shop to get my tats touched up and added to. Customer service and tattoo quality are all second rate here. If the guys are in a bad mood, they will just crank you in and out as fast as they can. If you are thinking of going here, please go to a few other shops first for visits so you can get a feel for why these guys arent that good (All-Star on Olive is a good one). Pay the extra buck and go with a little higher quality. Itll be on you for the rest of your life. These guys are tattoo-ers, not tattoo artists, and it shows.

My husband got his first tattoo at this shop and it looks terrible, like an amateur who had no idea what they were doing did it. Then when we paid, I was given a dirty look by the jerk at the desk for wanting to leave the artist a $20 tip which he didnt deserve. Basically shamed me into providing a higher tip. I also got my naval piercing done at this shop and it was crooked. Had to let it close and get re done somewhere else. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I vame to goldenlands tattoo to get a wedding band tatoo but instead of just getting my cash for a ring tatoo gary told me it was a bad idea cause it would it would fade bad i had them finish an old tattoo dor me gary took my idea and researched a picture on line . it was cool then Mich took that pic and added his artistic vision to it and gave me a pice of art im proud of

Totally recommend this shop. I got my tattoo done months ago but at a great price, professional and the company is family owed. The man.... I forgot his name.... But he talked to me the whole time and was just an overall great experience. Im making this months later bcuz I happen to be looking at my tat and was like Yessss..... He clowned and I love it.

Do not go here. I got a tattoo here about two years ago, the lines are shaky, the ink totally bled out and wasnt totally covered. Its a complete embarrassment, and a huge regret and cost way too much for something that turned out so bad. Ill be going to Stl Ink to get it completely redone and covered. I would attach a photo if i could.

My tattoo from them is small but a simple one. Its crooked and has shaky lines. I have to clarify most of the time what it is. The artist had to put on glassed and a ton of magnifiers to do it. I will never go back for a tattoo ever. Not worth the money spent.

These guys are super-professional. I messed up and put too much vaseline on my new tat, and they jumped on it. Fixed me and gave me more ink for free so it wouldnt be ruined. Theyre also hilarious. Great job, boys, and thank you!!!

Piercing process was great. Piercer even had a great personality but told me at the time that I couldnt get my tongue pierced because it was too short....went somewhere else for my tongue piercing...
