I am never going back to this big y! I gave it multiple chances because I run errands in west springfield on wednesdays. I bought coconut water here only to get home and see they were VERY expired. When I returned them the lady at customer service had an attitude and all the other employees are rude and distracted. Walking through the store employees stand in your way and when bagging my own groceries a bag boy finished bagging at the register next to me then walked right by me and went in the back room. I will stick to my Cooley st. big y in springfield where I never have problems and the employees are nice.

Always have such wonderful experiences at the Westspringfield Big y. Most employees are sweethearts and truly seem to care about their customer service. Prices are a steal and all product is fresh to perfection. Every time I go in I see a young lady by the name Serena working and she always helps out everyone! Serena greets all with a big smile and knows how to provide 100% great customer service and wows me at all my visits. She truly is a hard worker and deserves the credit! Jamie the manager there is a sweetheart as well.

Visiting on business, i needed some things from the grocery, while in the store I saw a customer with a delicious looking box of "fish and chips" apparently Big Y is known for their fish and chips, when I say this was the best meal Ive had on the go in a while, it was absolutly delicious. I dont typically eat in grocery stores but thought Id try it and if you have not had the chance to try their fish and chips please do so. I was told that Fridays are the best day to try. I had it today and its Thursday.

Week 8/28: ♦"Gatorade" @ .88 each ♦"Dunkin Donuts," 11oz. @ $4.88 ♦ Bakery-made Muffins @ .99 ♦"Big Y" yogurt (assorted) @ .69 Beautiful floral section ("Live Trends" sold here), delicious baked goods, salad bar, soup station, subs/sandwiches, scrumptious pizza (huge slices). Theres a comfy seating area where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the food made on premises. Ive had the pizza and soup (on separate occasions)~delicious. Im impressed with the improvements made in the last few months.

It took a while for me to get used to this store, but once I was able to determine where everything was and who to talk with about their products, the better I liked it. Would highly recommend, but if you are not familiar with the lay of the land, just be sure to give the store a chance. (We all stay with our preferred stores, but change is sometimes necessary.)

I was in a pinch and called Tammie in the bakery. She assured me that they would have a sheet cake ready to go in only 1 hour and helped to make sure I got the right frosting based on my description...whipped, not butter cream! The cake was on time and perfect...thank you Tammie and BigY bakery :)

Terrible cahier service at express lane, our cashier ( older guy, Owen) did not even greet us and was talking with cashiers behind him throughout our transaction. Very disrespectful. At least he had time for a quick "thanks" before we left. Ill do my grocery shopping elsewhere.

Its nice. But they are more expensive than stop n shop on almost everything... N they dont have as much of a variety as stop n shop.. N u have to buy the amount to 2het deal price. N u have to spend 500 just to het 1 gold coin.. Some reward... Nottt...

Best sides the wide selection of items they need to train some one there employees to not give customers such a hard time for not having a big y card and refusing to process there transaction because the customer didnt have a big y card
