walked in with an hr before closing. wanted to get some frames for my daughters art work. the last time (a year back) the lady working in the framing section was so helpful. This time around the experience was very disappointing. Julia was working the frames section. She was least interested in what i needed. Her disinterest was so evident that i had to walk away from her. Eventually worked my way with the frames. Went up to checkout... none of the discounts signage that i saw for frames applied at checkout. Apparently there is something called "everyday low price" these items are exempt. which is cool but here we had Mr Owen who was managing the floor shouting out instructions to the lady at checkout, These instructions were based on his understanding and his attitude towards his job was so unwelcoming it appeared as if Michaels had them forcefully working there. the other two girls on the floor were very helpful. @ michaels: please help Julia and Owen. They are very upset about something. I visited teh northboro location between6:00 and 7:00 pm on sunday May 28th. Not going there again... i will amazon it in future.

I walked in looking for two simple things a single feather and some pens. I continued to walk around for 10 minutes looking for the things I was looking for I ended up finding the feather and picked up a couple things on sale. I was running on a tight schedule NOT 1 sales employee on the floor I walked to the front to ask a cashier I was sent to two different isles that had nothing close to what I wanted. At this point I have reached my level of frustration and I decided to take my business elsewhere! I placed the items down and walked out! I refuse to shop there due to poor customer service! Its a big store they should have at least one sales person on the floor or in the front directing people.

I still love Michaels (for the merchandise as always) but I have never encountered such rude /ignorant staff at any other store. I dont mind spending a bit more for quality but my experience tonight was unacceptable so I would hope that the second shift at this location does not represent Michaels in its entirety. I would just like to say that from my own personal experience, ignorant and rude staff will turn customers away every time....

They have some things other craft stores dont in the art supply items. Everyone is very helpful and polite. They have fall and Christmas sales on at this time.
