My CPU fan bracket on my AMD motherboard broke, and I ordered a new bracket and fan for one of my main computers. Due to being an idiot, I managed to get cpu thermal gel on the pins of my Phenom II x4 cpu and on the cpu socket. Despite hours of careful cleaning with paper towels and a needle, I could not fix the issue. I arrived at this store, told them my story, and they said "Well, bring it in. We cant really promise anything, you may have fried something", which is what I expected. Brought my machine in, and while they were tinkering with it they discovered that the fan had been badly seated upon the clean CPU and managed to get the system going again. For the record, I was sure the CPU was toast and possibly the motherboard as well, and I expected to have to buy one or both at the shop depending on what we could save. After fixing my machine they could have charged me ANYTHING and I would have felt it a just price, but since they had not used any new parts or what not they decided not to charge for their service. I bought some extra thumb screws and stuff I needed anyway, and I will probably buy parts I need quickly from here. They had reasonably priced HDMI cords and stuff (Cheaper online, but not like bestbuy who charges like $60 for a 3 foot hdmi cord), not to mention the basic stuff (Sata cords, converters for power supplies for fans or whatever, switches and routers and things). I feel that if I need a part NOW that this place will have what I need, unlike radio shack who seems to only want to sell phones now. I went to several stores looking for a replacement AMD cpu fan bracket and ended up buying it from Amazon cause none of them had it in stock... wish I had went here first. I think it is a fairly new shop, (Or at least I was unaware of it till recently), so I will probably be buying stuff from them for a bit. It is nice getting things NOW even if I pay a bit more than on newegg, and I know that if this place shuts down I will be stuck waiting for shipping next time I need a part.

My desktop would not power up after a brief power outage. I went online and did the trouble shooting according to the info I found. All voltages on the power supply tested good, power button an everything else either tested good or looked fine. I replaced the mother board and, again, no power. I brought it in to the Computer Shop. Craig had me put it down on the counter and he immediately proceeded to diagnose the problem. His power supply made the system function, while mine, which tested good, did not! He quickly tested the old mother board and it worked fine. He offered a replacement power supply at a reasonable price and charged me $15.00 for the trouble shooting. I was a very happy customer: excellent customer service, instant turnaround. I would definitely go back again.

Went in today because my dell inspirion laptop battery was not charging, I had purchased a cord from ebay and to no avail it did not help. But the computer shop had a dell cord that was for my lap and plugged it in an now I am back in business. I forgot to mention that I had purchased two batteries for my laptop prior to the visit and now both are charging. I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs help with laptop repairs. Getting ready to go back and see if they can replace the cracked screen on my daughters dell laptop as well. Prompt friendly service from the technican and he also cautioned me about buying parts for my computers from ebay. I highly recommend them .

My USB ports all went dead for no reason. I tried updating drivers, altering the BIOS, and anything else I could think of, and nothing worked. Took it into The Computer Shop. Not only did he diagnose it quickly, but he offered a low cost solution. (It was the USB controller on the motherboard. Rather than tell me "You have to replace the board," he inserted a card that has four USB slots on it.) The work was done quickly, fast, and inexpensively. I cant recommend them highly enough.

I brought in my non-functioning desktop with what I thought was a bad power supply. I was greeted by the owner of this one-man shop. He dropped what he was doing, cracked the case and in a few minutes confirmed the bad power supply. He presented me options and didnt try to push his highest profit-margin product. I was back out the door with problem solved in short order. So happy that theres a no-nonsense shop like this in town.

He diagnosed my computer with me. Showed me all the parts that were broken and only charged me little for labor.
