Beware if you are a Linn Area Credit Union Customer and using your debit card/credit card their credit card service can/will double charge you. This happened to me at the Hiawatha location and the store manager Steve Briggi offered no support just told me it was my banks problem. Steve also stated that it happens all the time especially when customers pay at the pump. When I went to my bank I was told it is the credit card processing service that Hawkeye Convenience Stores utilize. In the process now of filing a report on the practices at this Hawkeye Convenience store in particular. Used to do business there all the time - yet after being brushed off with my concern by the manager will never return. Pretty sad as I have been going there for over 10 years. I will pass this information onto others so they will not be burned.

The lady had the door closed 5 minutes before store close and all I needed was to use the bathroom which she turned off the lights and refused to let me in
