I drove from Dubuque up to Elkader to look at the Turkey River. It was mid morning so I was looking for a place to have coffee and a snack. I saw Treats on Bridge Street. I stopped for a coffee and a pastry. I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was great and the pastry was ok. I liked the decor. It was a neat small coffee shop. I enjoyed my visit.

I wish it hadnt been so expensive. One scoop of store bought ice cream was over two dollars.
