The Richmond US 40 Kmart is a desolate wasteland of stale merchandise and sadness. When I walked through those sliding doors, I felt as if my soul was being pulled out of my very body. I felt the sensation of perpetual dread and boredom. I felt as if I had entered purgatory itself. This was just entering the store, a greater tale awaits my actual shopping experience. All of the soulless employees haunt the aisles and they will not be of assistance to you. I called to multiple employees to help me and they simply groaned a ghostly call and looked deep into my eyes and floated away. I was deeply disturbed, but I still continued my quest to buy the sporting goods I so desperately needed. After 30 minutes of aimlessly wandering the halls of Kmart, I found a nice selection of cheap paintball equipment. I was ready to leave the store, but all of the workers and many other customers surrounded me with a circular formation, ready to assimilate me into their cult. I used my vast array of paintball skills to climb the shelf and run as fast as I could. Please, do not go to this store, its a trap.

Really disappointed in K MART, so just thought Id post that its a waste to buy make up from them. Ive bought and returned 3 different eyeliner pens which were dry and damaged each time. The check out is always at least a 20 minute wait. Team members are not customer friendly. Yesterday I found a cute highlight palette which was the last one on the shelf but a had a huge chunk of product missing from where someone rubbed their finger through it. I asked if I could have it marked down because it was damaged. After about 20 minutes of various team members asking each other they say no. I told them I thought it was a little silly to pay full price for damaged product and I was met with a snarky "Anyone could drag their finger through make up and get a discount." Whatever! I really wanted this product so I bought it at full price! When I get home I notice, the brush that is supposed to come with it is missing. This is the last time I spend money there because its never a pleasant experience. It is ALWAYS stressful to shop there. What a joke! Theres my rant for the day

Went and they had mens sweaters on sale for $10 and shirts for $7.50 . so I got 2 sweaters and 1 shirt went to the checkout and it rang up $60 and they were rude and hateful about it when I told them the signs said they were on sale and for what price .. They gave me a hard time about giving me my money back as well... Hated it !! Worst place Ive ever shopped at!

I love that kmart is in our area still. I enjoy the sales. And the people who work their. LAYAWAY... so convenient to use for Christmas Garden center is my favorite part of kmart. The flowers are always quality..well taken care of. Halloween and Christmas have some cool and neat things not always found at their competitors

Horrible customer service. Very unfriendly staff. Im surprised theyre still around with attitudes such as the lady at the service desk. Might as well shut it down. I was in there a couple of weeks ago trying to find shoes and couldnt find a salesperson to wait on me or to even call someone. Ill never step foot in there again.

The staff just cant be bothered to do anything, if you call first and someone answers (which isnt likely) they will just give whatever answers they think you want with lots of attitude. If you go, you are definitely bothering them and they arent afraid to show it!

Cashier didnt have change, no big deal, until I had to go find a manager to bring her more, because she didnt feel like it. Would have moved to a different line if one were open.

I understand why most K-marts are closing! This store is sure to be next on the Chopping block. Where are the upper management that is suppose to visit stores?

This is my favorite shoppin center. Ryan the Pharmacist and Ann the Pharmacy Tech, r valuable assets to Kmart. Its the only Pharmacy I have used for years

Not a store Id recommend. Its wont be their much longer. I believe that a good manager could have turned it around, but feeling its to late for that.
