Matthews is top notch. Scott, Guy, Steve and the crew have been awesome. I have purchased 6 bikes from them, 3 of them in the past 12mos. No pressure and always friendly help. They spent time with my wife on trying out a ton of road bikes before purchase and offering input on what to look for in each. Recently brought a family member in and they spent two occasions putting him on a series of roadbike geometries to narrow down his first serious roadbike purchase. We have all had to have minor tweaks as the bikes and cables break in/stretch (all new bikes do this), and the included follow up visit has always been quick and spot on. Matthews is our go to shop in Indy!

Great experience . Helpful guys although my sales person did leave me in the middle of the sale. I guess he figured it was a done deal so he moved on to another customer. Odd. As I had more questions. I think some of the older guys in there are more knowledgeable and professional. Friendly service. Good prices. They seem to stand by their products. I think my bike is to big, they told me to bring it back and they would exchange it for a smaller one. I wish I would have found the perfect bike on the first trip. Maybe this is normal. I would go back again. Ask for the free kickstand.

Great people and prices. I have always had a mountain bike but just recently got into road biking. I know a little about mountain bikes but i am a complete Noob at road biking. The staff was great, they asked me what my price range was and did not try to sell me anything over that. They also spent a great deal of time explaining the difference between the brands and explaining why this bike is $800 and why this one is $4,000. They also had me ride multiple bikes so i could find the one that fits the best. I couldnt ask for a better experience.

I love this bike shop. I bought a Trek 820 and I couldnt be happier with it! But the review isnt about the bike, its about the shop. Staff is eager to help and knowledgeable. Brad helped me the most in choosing the right bike. He answered all of my questions. Since purchase, Ive had to take it in twice for repair (user error). Both times they quickly diagnosed and repaired, free of charge. I would recommend going to Matthews Bicycle Mart before anyone else. Plus theyre the only shop open Sundays!

Best Bike Shop in Indy! Matthews has been here a long time and always have great deals on bikes. Ive bought 3 or 4 bikes from them. Service is great too...they actually staff full-time bicycle mechanics, not just kids that read the assembly instructions, like at the dept. stores. The sales staff is very good too...not pushy, snooty or jerky, like many other Indy bicycle shops & garages and lines. HINT: Always go upstairs to look for extra good deals!

So helpful and friendly! Im a biking newbie... I had no idea what type of bike I needed and didnt want to spend a lot. The guy helping me was amazing, he picked out exactly what I needed and for a good price too. Best place in Indy to purchase/service a bike. The thing we liked the most about this shop was that they were actually trying to sell us the best bike for us, instead of the most expensive bike in our range. Staff is very kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Enormous selection of mountain bikes, with much fairer pricing than any other bike shops in area.

I just took my 1975 Schwinn girls bike that I used 30 years ago. Its been sitting in the attic for more than 20 years and needed a good tune up. The mechanics at Matthews looked at it for a few minutes, gave me a quote, and did the work while I waited. The cost of the repair was so reasonable, my mom will take her 1953 Schwinn in for repair as well.

I have been buying bikes and getting them serviced here for many years. Just bought bikes for my grandkids this summer. We had a very patient low-key fun salesman who helped them pick out their bikes. And when you need a repair or service, they really try to find the least expensive way to do it. The service never stops. My mom bought a bike for me back 1978. Then another one in 1980. I bought one in 1991 then again in 2000. I back again in 2015 and this time I bought 2 bikes a road bike and 3 month later a Mt bike.
