I have to up my rating of Earth Fare. We have been shopping here for a few months now and I can happily say that I dont see that stopping any time soon. We typically get our meats here and then the rest of our groceries typically come from Meijer or Kroger. The staff and the selection of meats are great. I like that I am actually getting good quality of meat vs what I might find randomly in the meat section at other places. Some of the prices seem a little steep to me but I truly believe that you get what you pay for. We have done their steaks, chicken, pork, and ground beef. All has been great and the natural and grass fed options are really what keeps me coming back. I have gotten their in house made chicken pot pies before and those are better than the Marie Calendars in the frozen section of other places. I like that their fresh and never frozen. During the holidays they give you the options to order additional items that normally arent carried in store on a regular basis. For Christmas we had the standing rib roast and it was amazing. They have a good selection of bulk items. We have been getting the granola and using that as yogurt toppings or just an option instead of always having cereal. They also have a good assortment of eggs. I know this sounds weird, but they have both organic and natural options for you to choose from. We typically opt for the organic. The only down side to Earth Fare is the selection of produce. It is very small and limited. Now they do claim that the produce is local and seasonal so maybe that is why I cant get everything that I want from Earth Fares produce year round. The staff overall is pretty friendly. I cant complain about that at all. I will say that their "Tomato Bank" savings program seems to be pointless. I only get 5 points a visit and thats only because I always bring a reusable bag. I do enjoy getting their emails as they have good sales on all sorts of stuff around the store.

We used to go to Earth Fare, but now we go to Fresh Thyme. Heres why: My wife went to Earth Fare in October 2014 and left my 11-year-old in the car. She was playing Nintendo and didnt want to go in. It was 65F outside. When my wife was checking out, Kristin the manager informed everyone that a child was in danger and locked in a vehicle. She said that she had called police. My wife said it was her 11-year-old daughter, that she was fine, and asked Kristin to please tell the police not to come. She refused, saying it was their policy to call when a child was in danger. My wife drove off with our daughter (who was still playing with her Nintendo) before the police arrived. The logic used by the manager to make the emergency call was utterly amazing - she was concerned enough to call the police, yet not enough to seek assistance to rescue my daughter. After being told the child was fine by the customer, she was too obstinate to believe the customer or go to the parking lot to verify. Shed have preferred that the police came and the customer dealt with the fallout, which could have included dealing with child protective services and the resulting attorneys fees.

I went in for lunch today to go try something a little more healthy and continue my efforts to be more health conscience. I got there and walked over to the restaurant part of the store and saw the signs for the different sandwiches/wraps/etc they have. I saw several pre-made chicken salad sandwiches and one wrap in front of the counter in a display, but nothing was what I wanted so I was waiting for someone to help me to order a sandwich. I saw behind me the "hot bar" which had 3 different items on it 2 of which were fish. I went in at 12:45 right in the middle of lunch and what terrible selection they had looked old and not appealing. After 10 minutes of standing there wanting to get a sandwich and not one single person even acknowledging my existence I left. I went across the street to Fresh Thyme and was helped immediately. I wont be back...plus I also realized that their food that they dont want to make you is more expensive than Fresh Thyme.

I can find everything I need and its not necessarily more expensive like some say. They always have great deals going on. Their pizzas are huge, delicious and cheap. Beauty department has all the best stuff without high dollar prices and scary ingredients. Kids eat free nights we love as a family, as well as the free muffin w coffee in mornings. Caters to vegan, vegetarian, allergies, and people who love their meat and dairy but better quality... and their vegan chicken salad is the best. Lots of competition around town. It every time I go to the other places, no matter how big the store, they dont have the same items I love to cook with or beauty products. The only thing I wish they would offer is vegan cooking classes, other than that this store is my fav.

EarthFare is a grocery store that is committed to providing heathy food. I love their organic meats, they always have a sale on a least one or more items. They have a deli, huge speciality cheese area and a bakery. Homemade breads and baked goods are made daily. On Monday rotisserie chickens are only $5.. Over the weekend take and bake pizzas are on sale. EarthFare has a juice bar, and makes smoothies and sandwiches. I go to EarthFare Everytime I need heathy fast food. EarthFare has a huge gluten free section. This is the place to go if you or a loved one has food allergies. I filled my kids Easter baskets with all types of healthy treats that were free of food dyes. I could go on and on about this wonderful gem of a store. Try it for yourself.

Wow, this place is going downhill. We came in for lunch and no one seemed to want to help us. We stood waiting for the pizza slice for several minutes. Then, they had the register closed and we had to use main registers. The fish did not look very fresh. Then, we could not get any plastic forks because she would have to go "hunt them down". So disappointing. Se love the Earth Fare in Louisville!

If you think the whole foods cult is an overpriced loser festival, might want to steer clear here. Hot bar, pizza station were sub par, salad bar was mediocre at best. They do not carry the Nebraska royal blue ice dr. Price recommended. Henceforth, you might have a hard time restraining yourself from vandalizing all things kosher. Fresh thyme across the street.

Love this little store. Everyone is very friendly and helpful (someone even ran out to the parking lot to give me a bag I forgot at the register!). Even though some of the product prices are a bit expensive, its justified with the quality youre getting.

Earth Fare is the only place I purchase meat. I watch for the sales and then stock up. Other places only sell in bulk packages but at Earth Fare the butcher puts my order into freezer wrapped packages according to the size I want.
