Blaine Rout

It is generally expected that convenient stores carry overpriced goods, but this place is ridiculous. The building itself is extremely run down and smells bad. Some of the products have accumulated dust because of sitting there for so long and the selection is very limited. The only good things worth mentioning are the generally friendly staff, and the extremely cheap popcorn from their in-store popcorn machine. In my personal opinion, the owner probably makes a fortune because of the high population of college students in the surrounding area and the fact that the IU Memorial Stadium is literally across the street, and because of this fact the greedy owner feels it unnecessary to maintain the place.

Under new management this place is great now! I dont leave reviews left and right, but they started serving hot breakfast made in front of you and after my night shift I always stop by and get their breakfast special. This place is fast and they keep the griddle extremely clean. Not to mention the workers and owners are really nice. The bad reviews from 7 years do not apply anymore. This place has truly changed.

The previous owner was a complete jerk who never cleaned out old stock, and allowed the building to fall apart without repair. Under new management, this place has turned around! Theyve renovated the exterior and interior, and the owner and staff are very friendly people. The prices are competitive for a convenient store, and the food items they serve are prepared hot, fresh, and quickly. Bravo!

Since this location was taken over by new management late March 2014, things have been improving rapidly. They are making many great changes. Everytime I walk through that door I can see something new. Their food menu has really improved.

The store has pretty much everything you need. As with any convenience store it is a little expensive. The best part of this place is the hot food they make. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner for around $5 and it is really good!
