Let me start with what I do like. I like how fruitful yield carries deliciously healthy food in a world full of putrid, cheap, and fake food. They have a great selection of supplements, fruits & veggies, gluten-free, and other non-gmo non-garbage edibles. Great job, fruitful yield keep it up! The world would be a better place if there were more fruitful yield’s around. What I don’t wish there was more of, is fruitful yield employees. This might be the most overstaffed store in the history of all stores. It’s not that they are rude or clueless. Not at all. Quite the contrary. It’s that I can’t walk down 1/2 the aisle before my train of thought is interrupted, albeit well-intentioned, by an employee. I’m not quite sure what their boss is mandating them to do, but it might be something like “Do not let an outsider walk 3 square feet without asking them if they found what they’re looking for.” I honestly get asked 5 times in a 10 minute visit if I need help with something. That’s one every one hundred and twenty seconds. Why would you ask if I need help? I’m not shrugging my shoulders with a blank expression on my face. I am minding my own business putting food in my cart.I can barely breathe in the store because it causes me straight-jacket level anxiety when I go down another aisle, because I know there will be an employee regurgitating their question mandate. Let me clarify. I like to talk to people. Conversation makes being a human fun and engaging. However, I do not like to be robotically spoken to every 3 feet. It makes me feel like I walked into a cult. I promise, fruitful yield, if i can’t find something i will ask you first. Please believe me. One time I could see the lone employee who hadn’t asked me if I needed help yet. I could see him honing in on me from the front end of the store and suddenly I became the prey and the employee the hunter. I tried to hide and take non intuitive routes around the store so he wouldn’t interrupt my shopping experience more than the other 10 employees already did. I actually saw him start to pick up the pace. His brow began to sweat, his eyes dilating, trying to find his question-prey. Dear South Elgin fruitful yield, this is what happens when you overstaffing your store. And one more thing, get rid of the nonsensical rewards card.

I was just going to go to Kohls with my sister when she told me she was thirsty. Looking around I saw that they said they have a Juice bar in the window. So we stopped in. WOW!!! I was really impressed by what I saw there. They had such a huge selection of Healthy products and really low prices even compared to Woodmens which is employee owned. I have worked in retail for 10 years now and I loved this place. The prices are very competitive and yes there are at least 10 to 15 people working there all the time and I give them CUDOS for that. I hate going to stores and not finding anyone to help me. I am the type of person who wants to research everything while I am shopping on my phone. I like going to a place that sees me as a PERSON rather than a Number and will give me 1-on-1 support and hold my hand through the buying process. I know this experience is not for everyone. But if I am going to spend a lot of money for a little bit of food, I want to be catered to and I want a personal shopper by my side. I would rather eat less and be healthy than over eat and become obeast and have health problems because I am trying to get the most most for the lowest price. Dont get me wrong I do like good deals, but I like healthy choices too. I have shopped at the Armani stores before and love the 1-on-1 experience and am willing to spend a little more money on better Quality foods with the service most chains cant afford to offer.

I normally rave about this location. Love the people and this amazing store. However, when I went in today to get my regular drink from the juice bar after I got off work I saw that the sign said the bar was closed. I find this a little upsetting due to the fact that the bar was not supposed to close till 5:00pm today and I got there about 13 minutes before they closed. I understand that there is clean up and they dont want to be there any longer than they are supposed to. However, being in the work force and always going the extra mile and staying open past our closing time, and then going to another store and having them decline me when they were supposed to still be open was very aggrivating. Please fix this Fruitful yield. I love this store, and I want to continue getting my favorite drink here.

OMG!! I love this place.... I went into the store earlier in the week, just to purchase redmond clay and get myself an organic juice from the juice bar. I had my little dog with me, ( she was in a tote). I was kindly escorted out of the store immediately by Coty, (an employee of the store), he let me know that it was not allowed, but he volunteered to watch Patti (my dog) out side the store, while I get the two items i needed. That act of kindness will be with me forever. Thank you Coty!. The people at this Fruitful yield are really awesome people that are professionals in customer service. The energy in the store is awesome, a very positive experience whenever I visit. Thank you all!!

This place apparently does not like Latinos in their store. I went in and I have never been fallowed by so many employees. They were watching my husband and me like we were going to pocket something. Mind you my husband works for security and I have worked retail 9 years. When I said something to the employees thats when they left us alone. I have never felt so unwanted in a place. At least next time when you fallow someone be less discreet about it.

Im not sure what happened to this store. Today was the second time Ive been here and the staff ignores me. They are far too busy socializing with each other to notice a customer searching for something. When I asked for help they were useless. I remember when the staff at Fruitful Yield actually knew something about what they sold. Maybe I need to go back to the Elmhurst store.

Very knowledgable and friendly staff…. Always right there to help you find something or answer questions about their products. They have a soup/juice bar which is a great addition. This South Elgin FY is my #1 go-to-store for healthy choices!!!

This location is by far my favorite. I love the smoothie bar! I also wanted to mention the help I received from an employee named Laura really made my day.

**WARNING** Good selection of healthy foods but painfully overstaffed. They follow you around the store. Get ready to play a game of hide and seek!
