This place is great. They serve Mississippi mud coffee, which is phenomenal. Their prices are very reasonable. I went in today and was surprised with a free coffee. I did not have cash on me. The cashier told me that they had a five dollar minimum on debit card charges. When I was about to scrap my coffee plan, she graciously said I could have my coffee for free. I will be back because they deserve the business! I have not had the food, but it looks wonderful as well.

I live in Edwardsville and I go here a lot. It is a cozy and comfortable place, with fine wood floors and a small town atmosphere. It is totally vegetarian, and they can make most dishes vegan per your request. They have a wide choice of food, all of it delicious. There deserts are wonderful, pumpkin bread being their specialty. On a wall you can see artwork by talented local artists. Sacred Grounds is a great place to relax.

Great food. Had a grilled eggplant sandwich and wild rice soup followed by a pecan caramel bar. Delicious and reasonably priced. Ive paid more for less. Generous servings. Relaxing place for me. Reminded me of my youth. Good food speaks for itself. About half of the other customers I saw were my vintage. I live about 12 miles away but it is now a destination. Refreshing and encouraging to find a cafe like this close.

Great coffee, really good place for homework or anything similar. For coffee, you can buy one cup and $0.25 refills or unlimited refills. Good for 1-4 people (at a singular table), best for 2 people. Always fresh art and very good music (less popular alternative). Food is good and cheap, but not for the picky. Outside and inside seating, occasional live music. No pets allowed inside.

Nice atmosphere - great vegetarian options. I tried the eggplant panini and it was great! I wish they had more iced coffee options during the summer. Free wifi. Be sure to spend at least $5 if youre using a card. Otherwise, need cash. Could also use more outlets, so be sure to bring your electronics charged if you plan on being there a while.

The food is always amazing. Its nice to have a local restaurant that does not make everything drowning in grease and salt. The coffee is hit or miss depending on the barista. better than Starbucks, but not as good as Kaldi - or more so Comet, Sump, Blue Print or the number of other third-tier cafes/roasters popping up.

Sacred Grounds is a great place to go if you want to read, get some work done, meet up for conversations, or just grab a panini and coffee. They have the most delicious sandwiches around and always offer a good variety of coffees to choose from. Very cheap prices, too. Ive never had a bad experience here.

Ole, Sacred Grounds now has wifi! Fantastic, right? Ive been coming here for years and they finally decided to get internet. One thing is, only the front tables have access to outlets. So if you need power, you better make sure you get a window seat, or the tables right next to the window seats.

First, there is no wifi which I count on when I visit a coffee shop. When I got past that, what I find is a simple and nice space that has a wide range of visitors on this late Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed a biscotti and cappuccino for only $4 which makes it a good value in my book.

Have loved this place since I was a kid. Recently they have a way better selection of lattes and premium teas which is great! I enjoy a place that carries quality tea. The atmosphere is always great and I feel more at home here than I do at Starbucks.

It is a very friendly environment where you will see students and teachers alike. The food is mostly vegan or vegetarian but the coffee is pretty good. Its a little pricey but Im a student and its a coffee shop so that is expected.

My favorite local coffeehouse. Always a big treat to find a minute to stop in and have lunch. I have never had a bad soup or sandwich. Great place for vegans and vegetarians. The dessert case is full of sinful treats.

Nice to place to meet up with friends but they stopped carrying Jones Soda, which was why I went there. But they now have WiFi. So, it trades out. They have great vegan food and baked items. The coffee is just alright.

Amazing sandwiches for $4.50. In terms of pastry items, they are all good, but the best is the elusive chocolate zucchini cake. Coffee is great!
