My wife and I are very unhappy with the long wait times in the checkout lines. Your web site shows that you have figured the times of day when you are most busy, so why dont you have more checkers scheduled to work during those times! Generally, there is someone who watches to see that this is addressed if there is a problem, but this occurs too infrequently. Further, when I complain, suddenly you are able to fix the problem, although this is not always the case. Today, I complained to someone who was supposed to be the Manager ( this was definitely not the manager) and I was given the verbal runaround about how he would be looking into the problem. When I asked what was going to be done and how soon would it be fixed, I was told that this was an internal issue and none of my business! I dont appreciate being given the run-around and being put off by verbal double talk. And, I dont appreciate insincere apologies without an action plan being offered up as a solution to the problem. I am writing this review because this has happened far too many times recently and in spite of several discussions of the matter with various store personnel, I see little improvement. If you care about your customers, please dont waste their time!! We have other important things to do and waiting in line isnt one of them!

I only gave 4 stars because the building is ginormous! God forbid you finish with your shopping and realize you forgot something a mile ago. Ha ha Seriously, the store is clean and usually busy thats why I go at off times. I may have to walk around a stocker here and there but its quiet and the staff are supper helpful. The Danville Meijer is excellent. The store is always clean, the staff is welcoming, the selection cant be beat in this area, and they have promotions and sales going on almost all the time. There is ample parking, free wifi, its open 24/7, and unlike other stores, they always give -useful-coupons that are based on stuff you buy. Meijer is everything Wal-Mart wishes it could be!

I love the varieties of fruits and vegetables. The store is clean. Employees helpful and friendly. I do not like to stand in line to check out forever because they only have one or two check outs open. We dont do self check outs. If there are several in line they should open another check out. Otherwise we love Meijer.

I actually work at this location in the electronics department and i have to say. I couldnt work anywhere else. The team members are so friendly and the customers are so pleased when they walk out of our store. Really great place. Im proud to say im a Meijer team member.

Love the MPERKS program they have. Good sales. I save a lot of money going there. They also honor Wal-Mart prescription prices if your drug name is on there list. I just love this store. I go about twice a week..

Great place to shop like any other Meijers. Noticed a trend here lately with limited registers open resulting with longer lines. Have to rely heavily on self checkout if you want to checkout quickly.

Probably best shopping in Danville in my opinion. Self checkouts open all night, anytime. The other big store has a lane open and no self checkouts so even at 2am you can wait in line.

They have a pretty nice selection and prices, especially with sales, are good. The cashiers are always friendly and Ive never had to wait in a long line. Produce can be hit or miss.
