It may not be only this store, but B & N should remember that potential employees are also customers of the store who assume it would be a great place to work. Maybe it is, but when I call or come in to try to introduce myself, so the manager can associate my face with my online application, I am usually treated rudely as if the associate has no time for me and how dare I go against their (previously unknown and ridiculous) policy of not having any idea who someone is before they call them for an interview. The associate I just spoke to on the phone rudely interrupted me repeatedly. Maybe Imdont want to work there, or shop there, anymore.

I went in to buy Islamic books. When i went up to ask an employee where to locate the Quran and other texts, I was given an expression of contempt and she acted like she didnt want to help me. Islamophobia is alive here. She didnt help me actually. Further more, they have two long rows of Christian literature, yet for some reason Islamic books are under the "Philosophy" section?? As if its an idea thats trivial, all of it next to Aristotle and Machiavelli. I never complain, but this is down right WRONG. I asked for help looking for books, not for someones personal feelings on a religion.

I adore books and love reading. However, this is a review on the store itself. The music they had playing at this particular location was dull and somber. Every song was from around the 40s/50s era, and not the good, jazzy stuff either. If youre trying to attract the elderly, you only have a few years left. The reason I put emphasis on the music is because it helps create the atmosphere. I suggest playing more modern music.

Saw a book online for $38 on their website and they would not honor the price in the store. Its was $56 for in store purchases. Said prices online are different then in the stores. Unbelievable. What a waste of time. So when you look to see if a store has a book instock dont think you are going to pay the price you see online. It should be noted on their website.

They have a large selection of books and games, as well as a small lineup of tablets. The in-house coffee shop offers hot/cold beverages and pastries, so you can snack while you thumb through whatever book or magazine catches your eye. Its a great place to spend a quiet afternoon.

The staff wasnt very friendly and they wouldnt acknowledge Starbucks gift cards even though they have Starbucks on EVERYTHING! They were unapologetic! Using the Starbucks emblem but not acknowledging Starbucks is misleading. Dont use the logo if youre not Starbucks!

I love to walk around and find new things to read! This place always smells like coffee. Its always clean. The bathrooms are nice. The staff is all right, not always the nicest. The store always has the newest stuff and great displays. I like this store!

I love taking my children to the book store. This Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite locations. Its nestled in the Avenue of West Cobb among other specialty shoppes, and they love this stores setup. It just always a great family trip for us!

Even though it is a mega-store, this is my neighborhood bookstore. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Dont try to make a quick run in and grab something; youll enter a time lapse continuum. :)

Its a nice store but can be overpriced compared to online book sellers. Good magazine selection. Needs more seating than whats offered. Kids section of books and toys is a good size.
