This place is large and has a lot of differnt kinds of hair. Also has plenty of make up but I feel its over priced, though not expensive. Still, youd be better off ordering online. Anyway, went around Oct & the only complaint I had was they follow you around...EVERYWHERE. VERY ANNOYING. My suggestion would be for associates to stand in the middle of the main aisles where they can be easily found. NOT following folks around. Totally rude. Other than this, I liked the place and decided to go back with my mother and daughter. We bought probably around $300 worth of merchandise including some cute knit ponchos. My sis in law is pregnant so I decided to go back in Dec to pick up a few ponchos for Christmas since I think theyd do great as maternaty and post maternity wear. While on the main floor, I grabbed some braiding hair. As I began to head downstairs for the clothing, I was informed very rudely that I could not bring the hair down there, I would have to make 2 separate purchases. What gets under my skin is that these people who make their money from women of color treat us like crap. I do not want to steal hair and even if I did, I had like 5 of those long packs of hair- where would I put it??? I politely laid the hair down and advised I would be taking my business and my MONEY elsewhere. The Asisn lady didnt care. I ended up going to another store for the hair and found some super cute ponchos at Burlington. People, we have got to stop spending our money at places like these with these racist pricks who dont value us as customers. There are plenty of smaller stores around here that treat us with respect. However, at this point I plan on just planning better and spending the extra money to shop Black Owned. DO NOT SHOP HERE people. They are rude and straight up disrespectful!!!

When I first walked into this location I was in heaven. This location is so much nicer and cleaner than the greenbrier location. A friend and I went together and fell in love because the prices were great too. We talked about how this was going to be our new hair spot then things went left....As most stores are the employees ask if any assistance is needed, we both said no were just browsing right now. A few minutes later we started to see this one particular employee in every aisle we went down. At first we just shrugged it off then it became clear that she literally was following us, no exaggeration no lie. 20 mins into the store, everytime we turned.... she was there. It became uncomfortable. Neither one of us brought a bag or purse in so I couldnt understand why we were being watched like that AND theres a sensor on EVERYTHING. 30 mins in it became annoying so I asked her to get her manager..yeah she was that close it felt like we came together and she close to the point I could feel her breath on my neck...that close. So Im speaking to the manager and he states no she was not following you I told her to see if you guys needed help....really? The whole time in the store though? So shes a personal assistant shopper? That made me even more upset instead of him apologizing ,he denies it. So I ask to speak with someone else...she says "no,no we tell our employees not to go from aisle to aisle with customers, she was just helping". Im so over this store Im spending my earned money in an establishment thats catered to black women and yet I still feel uncomfortable? I will never go back and I really loved that store. **shrugs**

My first time going to this location was with my fiancé and we really enjoyed the store we looked around and seen a lot of stuff that I would like . Yesterday (May 25,2017) I went in w my mother , my mother in law , and 4 of my little sister (ages 11,12,15,20) we went in to look for my wedding dress and look for their dresses as well so we were in the downstairs area. As I was looking for a dress I allowed my little sisters to see what the wanted and immediately they found a dress they looked and took them to the dressing room to try them on the lady stood there and watched as they tried the dresses on . Then I picked my dress and was ready to try it on and the lady took the dress out of my hand and said I was way too big for the dress and went to go get me another size . I was so embarrassed . As I continued to browse the lady follow us around and acted as you was straightening dresses . We finally found my dress and went upstairs and began to look at hair and this older Chinese lady came behind us as we looked at the different wigs she stood there smiling and walked behind us until I had enough of it and asked her if she had a problem and she finally lefted us alone . When we went to the regrister the cashier did not greet us and rolled her eyes multiple times . This place needs better people or it doesnt need to be open .

Colorist at her finest, Euna told me that if I go downstairs with my shopping basket, that the alarm would go off. I asked her what was she implying because there is no alarm. Thats when she started to talk to me in circles as if she didnt understand what I was saying but while she was following me around the store earlier, she was very "understanding." I left my basket upstairs and spoke with an associate downstairs whom informed me that this was certainly untrue and then to a manager who said she didnt understand. She understood! And thats why I understand that I will go down the street and pay more to get the service I desire. I wont spend another cent here!

Nice place and very huge place. However, I had a real problem with the black lady who were working in the wigs dept. Again, black lady with an accent, gray hair with a ponytail pulled back. RUDE!!! I spoke to that heifer and her demeanor was COLD. She wasnt approachable at ALL. Not to mention, they watch every move you make. First, I had some intentions of purchasing an item, but after receiving a cold shoulder from that rude ___itch, I decided not too. Secondly, I will not visit that place again. The same items I use that were there can be found online. Not to mention, Gwinnett Place is a DUMP and secluded.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. The ladies in the wig area were rude and not helpful. The black lady with the grey hair told me not to run my fingers through a straight wig that was on DISPLAY. Im sorry but I refuse to buy ANY synthetic wig without seeing how they feel first and to see if they possibly tangle. A STRAIGHT wig on top of that. Itd be different if it were a wig with tight curls. This place is amazing upon walking in but the staff is TERRIBLE and I will never step foot back in this place again. I will gladly purchase my things online.

I enjoyed my visit at Beauty Masters in Duluth today and my daughter walked out one happy soon to be Sweet 16. The service we received was impeccable from finding dresses, to lacing them up, to finding accessories. I feel the prices are reasonable and the quality of dresses is excellent. They have many sizes in the dresses all the way to plus size. The store is clean and has everything to fit your beauty needs (hair, jewels, product, shoes, purses). Oh, and great location. Thank you to Sarah, Abby, and Andrea!
