My husband ordered flowers for me to be delivered on Friday, May 10th because he and the children had to leave out of town for a family funeral. I could not attend the funeral as I had to work. The flowers never showed up. No call. No attempted delivery. My children, aged 7 and 11 were completely devastated. They had no Mother’s Day gift to give me. Don’t mess with my kids on Mother’s Day, Seminole Garden Florist. Shame on you!!! I was at work Saturday and received 2 calls from this flower shop asking about redelivery. I asked where they were the prior night. They said they attempted delivery. I challenged this excuse as I was home the entire night with my husband AND my children, waiting for the flowers. They said my name was not on the building directory (It is, of course, it is!). I asked if they were in fact downstairs looking for me, why didn’t they call my cell # and my husband’s cell # to say they were downstairs (our numbers were on the delivery confirmation)? They admitted that this delivery driver was a “hit and miss”. Seriously, in this economy, the best you can get is an incompetent delivery driver who screws up on Mother’s Day? And so you take your most incompetent driver and have them work on Mother’s Day? Horrible judgment call on that! My only option to receive flowers for Mother’s Day was to cancel my dinner plans for Saturday night; otherwise, I would have to go to the flower shop on Sunday and pick up my own flowers. They don’t do deliveries on Sundays. News Flash: They also apparently don’t do deliveries on Fridays!!! Are you kidding me??? How about you come to my house and wash my windows? Oh, that’s right. You don’t know how to use an intercom system. This floral shop asked me to be more considerate on this busy floral day. Seriously? If they are so completely incompetent as to handle a delivery, maybe they should not be working on Mother’s Day. The Peter Principal: Seminole Garden Florist….you have worked to your level of incompetency. They then began backpedaling and said that my driver did try to call me on Friday. Now you’re insulting my intelligence! Hello? Caller ID? There was NO call from your driver to my cell. There was NO call from your driver from the building intercom system. Both would have registered on my phone. You sit on a throne of lies! I do NOT recommend this floral shop. Throw a rock and hit another. Better yet, there’s a Winn Dixie across the street.

BEWARE OF A CRAPPY FLORIST!!!! I tried getting an appointment last year for a beach wedding consult and wasnt given the time of day. My husband ordered flowers for mothers day (today) and when he saw them he was a little angry. I had asked what was wrong and then I saw the bill... Almost $100. I thought he had brought them from the grocery store florist. The only reason Im writing this is because my husband called to inquire if the had delivered the wrong arrangement and they said that since he ordered the premium arrangement that what was in the picture was supposed to be completely different.

Pat and Seminole Garden Florist were absolutely wonderful to work with. She was recommended by Hawaiian Orchids on Seminole Blvd. and was creative, flexible and organized. We were actually given flowers as a wedding gift and Pat figured out what to order, received the flowers and delivered stunning bowls of flowers and various corsages, bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres. Our guests thought the arrangements and flower mix were beautiful. I would recommend Pat and will use the services of Seminole Garden Florist again for my daughters weddings if they happen to be in the area.

Pat and Bob always do a great job. Weve used them for years, but Ive never gotten around to writing a review. Shame on me. They do it all -- the flowers and the party favors -- but Ive used them mainly for the Big Occasions" like significant birthdays and anniversaries, and my daughters beach wedding. Always creative and extraordinarily beautiful. Make someones day....
