For some reason, Kimberly Home has doubled and tripled their prices in the last two-three years, especially on items like purses, blankets, curtains, pictures/frames, bedding and beds, furniture, home decor and most of all, clothing. The only time I shop there anymore is the days they have specific sections on sale 50% off or more, otherwise, youre paying the same price as if you went to WalMart and bought items new. Ive mentioned this to the staff and manager at the store; they could care less. A few months ago, I called and spoke to the manager, Keith. He told me next time I was in to stop by and talk to him about my concerns. When I did, he actually laughed at me and said, "Then dont shop here," which, since I spoke to him previously on the phone, was a shock of a response to say the least. After he went in the back, I spoke to two staff members. They voiced their concerns, that many people have complained about the pricing, and when I told them about my interaction with the manager, they were not surprised. "Things have definitely changed and for the much worse, and hell NEVER lower the prices here," was what they told me, and that is so very obviously the true story. I see in another review complaints about pricing, and Keiths response that they are not overpriced. As a lifelong thrifter, I can assure him that YES, YOUR PRICES ARE HIGHER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER THRIFT STORES; PLEASE REALIZE THIS and also, try a little less sarcasm with customers. Ive started going to Salvation Army - they are actually polite people and the prices are THRIFT STORE PRICING. Also The Hospice on Belcher Rd. are priced at THRIFT STORE PRICING, $1-$2 for shirts, $1 housewares, $3 purses, inexpensive clothing - and it doesnt SMELL. The only things I buy at Kimberly Home anymore (of course only when on sale) are kids toys and tupperware. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! Wish the staff there would read these reviews and GET A CLUE.

I can tell you that they dont treat employees much better. Six out of the fourteen people I worked with (all higher ups) had bad attitudes, including Keith and especially that hateful little prick Danny at the Dunedin store. I hated him the most. I got yelled at for doing what I was told and yelled at for things I didnt do and then fired for "not fitting in" which Im assuming meant I was doing something morally right. Stuff is piled so high in the backroom that it is literally to the ceiling and is bordering on a fire hazard. The management is inadaquete. The items are overpriced junk and this place is a running joke. I will never give that place my money as long as those people are there.

This used to be a great place. The prices were reasonable and the stock rotated often. I think they changed management and I stopped going over a year ago because I could get new clothes at TJ Maxx for what they sell used dated clothes here. Only reason I ever stop in anymore is to see Hannah, the sales clerk there. She is always pleasant and polite and because of her, I had made very large donations to Kimberly Home in the past. They need to lower the prices, get rid of the stale merchandise and get back to the way they used to run the store a few years ago. They cant keep up with the deals at other thrift stores and there are no bargains here anymore.

Called to find if they have a certain type of era of clothing and the girl told me "you need to come and look for yourself" " I cant go through all the shelves for you". UM HELLO! The reason why I am calling is because I am stuck at work and I cant leave work early to meet your closing time of 6:00pm for merchandise that you do not even have in stock! The employee didnt even try to sound like she cared whether or not I wanted to buy merchandise! Too bad for her because I have to buy costumes/ accessories for 60 people and Ill just take my business elsewhere! If it is bad service over the phone, I can only imagine the customer service in store!

I took my dtr-in-law there for some clothes, she found a lot, shes very petite and liked the merchandise. I found a beautiful oriental cabinet for such a good deal. The prices are pretty good, compared to other places and very clean. Person at the checkout wasnt having a good day though, it was pretty busy. The man that helped me with the cabinet was SOOO nice. Are you a non-profit and tax deductible?

Cute little thrift store that has a large variety of stuff- always some furniture in good condition at decent prices.. A section for kids stuff neatly organized, home wares at the back neatly in rows, clothes organized by rows of racks in type/size and color. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful. I always find something when I visit, and they always have deals for the day.

I can NOT believe this company would let an employee post pics on Facebook telling people not to donate anymore because they are over their limit. And this was okay through the owner named Kelly .I find this to be poor business taste instead of having employees post these statements telling people not to donate someones needs to clean out and donate to other organizations.

I was renting a place for the winter and my dog ate the couch that was in the house! I went to Kimberlys and found a perfect replacement piece! I was very lucky to have found those pieces, which happened to be of good quality. The staff were both helpful and pleasant! I will be visiting there again.

Keith, its nice that you comment and try to maintain a good costumer service, but that doesnt mean you guys arent way over-priced. I stopped shopping at Kimberlys home because the prices are too high, you need to lower your prices if you want people shopping there.

Check here first if you want a good buy and nice things! With prices today, this is the place to go. Their items are in great or very good condition. Also certain days give discounts. Get a card at the desk to see what day of the week they have discounts.

To the people that say "stuff is overpriced" Where have you been shopping? Remember ,this is a place to help others.....I bought a couch recently ,decent condition,$85.00 delivered... Pricing , in my humble opinion is very reasonable..keep up the good work.

I shop primarily for used clothing and I can usually find a couple good deals here on 1/2 price clothing day (which I believe is Mondays) but even with at 1/2 price most of there items are still too high so as a result I dont shop here very often

Good quality mdse. Prices vary and sometimes seem a bit high but they do daily specials so you can always find a good deal. A little off the beaten path but I like to visit whenever I am near the vicinity.

As a long time "thrift shopper" I must say this is the BEST thrift shop I have ever been in!!!! CLEAN, ORGANIZED, and GREAT prices!!! Kudos to the owners!!!!
