I am new to CT and the first thing I searched after moving up here from Miami, Florida was a store for Halal Meat and the neighbors recommended Bismillah. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of almost everything - Rice, Dals, Meat, Flour, Spices, Masalas etc. And dont forget to visit the nearby Hotel which serves extremely good food. I and my wife had Chiken Khorma and another chicken dish (I am forgetting the name) , 2 Nan and Rice. Its very good... I will try to search for the hotel name as that skipped my mind too... :-))))

The owners are great couple and very friendly they have great Halal products and special is that they carry Halal and Vegetarian certified Black seed drinks wich are very exotic and delicious
