I bought flooring at Home Depot in August of 2015. It was supposed to be guaranteed. After I purchased, Home Depot called to tell me they could not deliver the floor, that I would have to get someone to pick it up. I told them to cancel it, and they said,we will see what we can do. They later had the floor delivered, but Home Depot called to tell me they misquoted the floor, and there was an additional charge. I reluctantly paid for the additional charge. They said the floor was guaranteed, and easy clean. They said the installers would leave the paperwork including the warranty. The installers put the floor down, then told me, I could not wash it with water. Keep in mind this floor is in the kitchen. They also did not have the warranty, but told me the store keeps it in the computer. 3 Months later, I spilled a pan of water on the floor that was soaking on the counter. I immediately cleaned it up and dried the floor, but the next day, the floor was bubbling up, and cracks formed between the tiles. Home Depot told me they could not fix the floor as the floor was discontinued. I called and complained to customer service, and they said they would try to find tiles from another store. I ask why they didnt tel me the floor was being discontinued since I only bought it 3 months earlier. They had no answer. Today, they called to tell me, they could not find the floor, sorry it took so long to figure it out, but there is nothing they can do. This floor was over $2000 and at 3 months old is ruined. Shame on Home Depot. They lied to me, they did not guarantee the floor, and they are doing nothing about it. Hopefully the Department of Consumer Protection has a better answer for me.

While I have always missed the local mom & pop hardware store experience since the big box stores took over, I also have always preferred Home Depot over Lowes. However Lowes tends to have more convenient locations somehow. Unless I need to get something really fast I will go somewhat out of my way to go to this or other Home Depots. The employees here are always friendly and try to help you get whatever youre looking for, even if it means they have to recommend a different store, though chances are theyll have your item. Unless you go really late, theres usually someone around with knowledge in whichever field you have questions about.

Rude and evasive. Advertised refrigerator on sale was ringing up more than $200 higher than listed. No one would give me a reason why. We were asked to call back on Monday and we were told to wait for a supervisor to back but he never did and the same thing happened again on Tuesday. We have still yet received and explanation but we did get a refrigerator from Sears.

Cesar is EXTRAORDINARILY helpful!!! BUT, if you need help in the Hardware Department on a day he isnt working... ... then just go to another store, because not even the managers are able to successfully page the other hardware employees to come out to assist customers.

Every Staff was EXTREMELY HELPFUL! Especially the guy that rides around in a cart (I dont remember names sorry) He helped bigtime with lightbulbs. I had a overprice on the reciept and the service desk refunded me ASAP, very pleased, will return!

Nicole, at the Service Desk was terrific. She immediately understood the problem and worked very hard to remedy it. She just was not going to be stymied and made at least 5 phone calls to work it out.
