Obtained about 20 recessed can lights (IC rated) from Cost Plus Electrical Supply that happened to defective... the can lights would overheat and shut off. I know that defective products sometimes happen and that these problems can be solved. But after weeks of collecting receipts and related information for Eric Hardin at Cost Plus he told us that Cost Plus is; - "just a middleman", - "has no liability", and - "will see no such agreement from Cost Plus regarding any settlement or refund for products purchased". But the Cost Plus web site says; "We are dedicated to our customers success through our superior customer service." I did not experience "superior customer service" or even responsibility for the product they sell. There a lots of places to buy electrical products... Cost Plus is no longer on my list.

I was charged 5 weeks ago for lamps and they cant find my order. When trying to get to a manager (to refund my credit card charge) I was repeatedly hung up on. They repeatedly transferred me to people unable to deal with this minuscule issue. Update: they finally refunded my credit card, I just checked my call log and it took me 8 calls to get this accomplished! Lousy Company and Lousy Employees.

This company has gone downhill over the last couple years, they have been untimely and inaccurate with my orders lately or out of items completely. I only go there for the occasional good deal on wire anymore.

Best prices of any supply house around. Anything not in stock can almost always be brought in the next day, or you can pick up from another location same day. Awesome staff and free doughnuts!
