Sprouts is not perfect, but there is a lot to like about it. Most of the items are the same quality as whole foods, but they are usually priced cheaper. The cosmetic/tincture/powders section is excellent. Produce is decent. Im not as stoked on the bulk bins, which are lower quality than Whole Foods or Erewhon. (although they DO have bulk kaniwa for $6/pound--not bad). Also, Im not too sure about the sushi. it is relatively inexpensive, but the quality is much lower than Whole Foods or some place like Mitsuwa (japanese market). One thing I like about sprouts is that, unlike most grocers, they dont have junk food for sell in the checkout aisle (they have only magazines and health products). Also, I love the little plants they always sell (for cheap) outside.

Second time in 3 weeks the cashier made a mistake(?) on my bill. Today she has purchased a soda for her self, I called her on it and got a refund from the manager, they have posted it as a return!. 3 weeks ago, a different cashier has added an extra Funnel to my bill, unfortunately I found out about it at home. So often they would sell a very low quality produce, like todays melons 9/25/2014, they look like they where saved from the dumpster! Not all the produce items are this bad, some are rather nice.

My chief complaint is the lack of personnel in the store. This is particularly pronounced at the deli counter where frequently there is only one employee regardless of how many customers are waiting. If the customer wants a sandwich it takes several minutes with no one else available to help the other people waiting. Several times I have walked away rather than wait. This review is directed to the Woodland Hills store.

This Sprouts is a nice and clean store with a helpful and friendly staff. Their produce variety is pretty good and for the fruit they have stickers on every single piece that is organic. Check out their chicken selection in the far right corner of the store, usually you can find lots of it for little cash which is great for students.

Incredible amount of fresh produce. Really a farmers market made into a chain. A great selection of their own brand items also. I was so happy when they moved into the neighborhood.

Sprouts is easily the most affordable healthy grocery market in the area. Prices are usually cheaper than everywhere else and theres a greater selection than Trader Joes.
