***Beware***While I understand that used cars are purchased "as is" and "buyer beware", I put my faith in this dealership because of all the good yelp reviews- and I said to myself they care about their reputation and are not selling cars listed as "in perfect condition" but are actually in need of serious repair with damaged transmissions etc. Let this be a lesson. I paid the full asking price for the car. Here it is. I purchased a 2008 VW Passat w/89,000 miles on 8/28/16. I regret my good faith purchase. The following problems occurred within 24hours after purchase: 1. Needed new transmission. It was as if new transmission fluid was put in the car to disguise the failing throttle body and transmission (clutch) problems just enough until the car was test driven and sold. This would have to have been something that Boutique Auto Sales knew about before they sold it. As soon as the transmission shop removed the throttle body, nothing but dirty metal filed syrup came out. 2. Needed new rear brake pads and rotors. They sold the car with 1mm left of padding left on the brakes. At that thickness, the point where the squealing gets your attention to replace them has already occurred. Boutique Auto Sales knew this and didnt care. They knew I was driving it back to san diego and failed to mention that it only had about 2 hours of life left. According to the autobody I took it to, at least one of the rotors would have already been torn into before I even bought it. 3. Major oil leak. I would write more but I dont even know whats causing it yet. 4. Torn Rear Axel 5. Spare tire gone after driving away Of course, this isnt the only thing that was wrong with my purchasing experience. They knew 48 hours in advance that I was coming from San Diego and when I arrived the car was dirty inside and out. In addition, the airbag light was on while test driving it. While I know airbag lights come on all the time and just need to be reset, the fact that it had not been dealt with speaks volumes to the due diligence and overall trust worthiness of this dealer. There is a premium for dealer cars and things like this are generally assumed. Dont make the same mistake I did. Either get the vehicle on a lift with a long test drive or take my advice and go elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I would never buy a vehicle from this place again!! First thing, they would not let me test drive the vehicle (??) so I had them take it to the local dealer to get checked out (I should just left then). The dealer had a list of things that needed fixing (totaling $4,000+) but Boutique insisted there were no problems or faults. I bought the vehicle and as Im driving off the lot, the warning light comes on for a suspension fault ($2000 to get fixed)! Called Boutique back and they claim fault light NEVER came on before (Really??) I call them up because I cant figure out the front and back heated seats the ad claimed the car had. "Oh, it was a mistake." was their response. Then to top it off, they file paperwork with the DMV listing my bank as a lien-holder, when I gave them a cashiers check!! Nothing in the paperwork said anything about financing. Of course now its my problem to find my title and get it fixed. Worst experience ever and Boutique takes no responsibility.

Haney, as aforementioned, is very responsive and friendly. He not only met me on a Sunday, but paid for my Uber because my Uber and lyft werent cooperating. I made no promises on the purchase before hand. Little did he know, I came equipped with everything needed to inspect the car. Basically flawless as he described. I mean, a 10 year old car, i couldnt have expected anything better. Very knowledgeable with the paperwork. I explained to him my previous woes of used car purchasing, and he freely offered an additional 30 day warranty. He knocked off another $300 as well because he understood my situation. I actually received my plates and stickers today. Not even 3 weeks later!!! My wife, and her Bff took the car today and loved it! Awesome experience. Ill probably sell my other car soon and buy another car. Haney will be my fist call. 2007 Lexus GS450h

Buyer BEWARE!!! I would not recommend this place under any circumstance. Unfortunately I did get a vehicle from them and its been nothing be problems. As soon as I drove off the lot, the lights on my dash came on alerting me of a problem. I called them back and they claimed the lights never were on before, but the dealer told me they had been on for a while. Cost me $3000 for a rebuilt trans. They wouldnt offer me a warranty, so Im certain they knew. Once they get your money, you are screwed. Dont walk away, RUN!!!

Stay away from these people they will show you the car dirty to hide lots of hidden paint issues .this is the worst dealer i have seen in my 20years of buying cars.
