Ive been shopping at Country Club Safeway for 30 years. The last 3 months I have waited in lines 30 - 45 min. & had to bag my own groceries. I usually shop for about $200.00 every couple weeks. My ice cream has melted soft twice & other frozen items. The other day they only had one register open (15 items or less) I had to get into that line & listen to people gripe that I was in the wrong line. I let everyone know there was no other line open. The line was backed up down the Isle & they started complaining. Finally 1 employee & 1 mngr (Lisa) started cashiering, but that was after I was already being 1/2 way checked out. This is the 3rd time this similar situation has happened to me & others. I went to the mngr. (Lisa) & expressed my concern, all she had to say was, oh Im sorry were suppose to have 4 other employees here but she was not sure why they were not on registers & that she would have to check. Little late. Im very dissapointed in Safeway & will start shopping elsewhere & will spread the word around about their poor service.

John, the store manager was very helpful. I purchased a cake from the other Safeway and the cake frosting was sliding down. John spoke to the bakery manager Jose. I was told to bring it in and they would fix it. Which was very convenient for me since I live closer to there location. I went to pick it up, Catalina, one of the cake decorators did a great job, the cake looked as good as new. Jose even carried it to my car for me. They all did an amazing job. Its great customer service like that, that makes you want to go back and shop there. I like to thank all 3 of them for saving my granddaughters birthday party. It would have not been as great as it was without there help. Thank you, A very great full customer

Poor customer service . They had a prayer plant . That was sitting on the floor in the corner under the table dieing when I ask if I can have the plant because it was dieing for free I had two at home my husband bought me for mothers day . I felt that I can bring life back to it since they didnt care for it. The man came over rang a price up for it like he did not hear anything I said . Then said I have to ask my manager after I said it all over again . He came back said that the manager that I can buy or they are going to throw it away . I could not believe what I was hearing wow thats how they treat a plant like that then refuse to give it away to throw it away no one would buy the plant

I have been a recurring customer of this Safeway branch for many years now. We are Safeway Club Elite. My wife and I are very unimpressed by the professionalism of a certain employees of the pharmacy at this specific branch. We feel that this pharmacy counter employee is extremely unprofessional and belittles not only us, as Elite Customers, but most customers that comes to her counter. I am VERY unimpressed with her snide remarks and slow, unenthusiastic performance as an employee of this establishment. And if something cannot be done about this, we may have to halt our use of the Elite membership and of the Safeway enterprise as a whole.

People walking out stealing stuff constantly, and they dont care. Maybe because its the "paying" customer who pays for it. There was a lady with 5 boxes of pampers, just now i saw people preparing to make a run for it, and because they dont care i said nothing. Told them before, they just agree and say there is nothing to do about it. One employee told me they lose over $5k a week, no wonder prices are so high. Good job security...no stars for you!

Monopoly is the only time I choose to shop here . haha so fun and great coupons and deals but any other time its very pricey. And the area has definitely gone to crap, I use to not mind paying a little more money in return you got outstanding customer service and a scense of cleanliness and safe surroundings. But now a days I feel as if they are looking at me like im stealing and the feelings not so welcoming like it once was.

worst customer service ever. if the employee at the register see you with EBT card or wic checks there faces look like they are going to kill you. forget about the greething they wont even look at you. worst safeway in city of Stockton. you will not find anyone in the store so they can help you. i never seen a worst manager in my life the girl manager at night shift who does not know any knowledge of products.

Restrooms are in horrible condition. Checker was very helpful. Wish they would not try to cram everything in one bag...dude I will give you another dime just dont mix my fruit with my soap please. Bakery here is so yummy. Flowers always tempt me they smell so good. Pickle selection needs help. Tons of great milk and egg choices...very good if youre looking for hormone free, cage free stuff.

Came to pick up an order placed at 2PM yesterday at the pharmacy and they hadnt filled the order and have not as yet called the Doctor to get their question answered , a trip for nothing again. Three months of this bullshit is a bit excessive, its a life dependency issue and I want it resolved immediately or I will take my business elsewhere Sincerely Jon C. Sump !

Greatest store. Greatest city. Greatest neighborhood. I live a couple streets away from it, and there is always someone to receive me with a smile. They have great products at very low prices ( if you have your safeway card). If you do not have a Safeway card; you are pretty much being ripped off. Bottom of the line. This is a great place to buy groceries at!

I love this Safeway.. It has a Starbucks.. The personnel are AWESOME.. The store is always stocked.. veggies n fruits always fresh.. Overall this Safeway is one of the best grocery stores in Stockton. I just wish the city would clean up the I5 freeway entrance n exits. BE SAFE.. Homeless are right at the I5 freeway entrance. Just honest review!

nice selection, i do think they are overpriced on items sold at other stores but the fruit they sell is the best ive tasted from a grocery store, the meat as well. love the app. the only problem i really have is you get no service when in this store, i rarely can connect to the app even when connected to the wifi there provide

This Safeway remains relatively clean and quiet for the most part, however it does always seem to lack shopping carts and cashiers when things get slightly busy here. I would recommend shopping here during the week, or super early in the morning on weekends to avoid spending a large chunk of your time here.

I love your store because you have plenty of organic products, especially friendly, caring employees, and cashier named Lora. Always with a smile, she asked if everything went well, very informative! I like having a great shopping experience every time I go there. I also like my reward points for gas.
