A very pretentious and rude store. I have just bought a house in the area so was very excited to discover a local wine store that I could use for my entertaining needs. I was invited to leave the store and go to Safeways after asking about the wine brand Cakebread, along with a multitude of smirks and putdowns, despite standing at the counter with a bottle of wine that I wanted to buy. In London this is pleasant brand served at notable restaurants and I have very fond memories of visiting the vineyard, so even if it is a "cheaper" brand in the US - I should have been dealt with in a respectful manner and not been at the brunt of some inferiority complex which was some what odd!I happen to find it a great wine that is hard to find, and never see price as a factor to what is enjoyable. I shall not be returning and have not had such an experience before.

Even though this isnt near my home I find myself occasionally going out of the way to visit due to their helpful staff and consistently great choices. You pretty much cant go wrong in this place - they basically only stock good quality alcohol so anything you choose is going to be good. I come here if I want sherry because they have the real stuff.

The most helpful staff. I love drinking wine but not always certain what type goes well with different types of foods. Each time Ive come here the staff has been extremely patient and helpful and recommended excellent wines.
