Ive eaten here 4 times now and was not impressed either time. First time was a dine in and we had slow service. When the food finally arrived my omelette was lukewarm. It wasnt all that great either. The second time was a pickup order for a group. I ordered the Asian salad which was supposed to come with dressing and add ins for the Asian flavor. There was no dressing or add ins and I didnt have time to go back before going to work. The 3rd and 4th time I tried their grilled chicken sandwiches. The sandwiches were very good but very over priced. Ive really tried to like this restaurant because my two best friends love it. However I am not able to recommend this restaurant to anyone. In my opinion you get better food and better service for a better price other places.

Everything was outstanding. The portion size was great and flavor unmatched. The chicken kabob was amazing. I was a bit frustrated when I approached the counter trying to buy two additional chicken kabobs without the entire meal. The cashier looked uncertain about it, began to go and ask someone, then changed his mind and just told me no. It was strange and seemed as if he didnt want to put forth the effort to find out. I was happy to pay any amount for just the chicken, rather than wasting and entire portion of rice and salad that wouldnt be eaten. It would seem wise to either educate the staff on the process or consider making that an option for customers who may want a greater portion of protein.

Cafe Dantorels is great for a person flying solo or a group. Its a very popular restaurant for groups going to see plays at the Sierra 2 theater. Its a local gem that caters very well to the neighborhood its in as well as travelers. They always have a large brunch rush on Sundays so remember to come early or being someone to stand in line while you grab a table. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Theyve always got a great beer selection from Sacramentos local breweries on tap as well as bottled beers. Theyre food is delicious for all meals and they always have a few choices of cake and pastries that supplement their dessert crepe menu for people with a sweet tooth.

Outstanding Dining Experience !!! A combination of dining and a coffee shop environment. Very contemporary. A wonderful social environment to share with friends and associates. Parking is limited, but the surrounding streets seem to provide abundant opportunities to park quickly. Both inside and outside seating are available. During very hot hours they provide misting to cool the area, very nice. This is my favorite spot to take someone visiting Sacramento, or someone new that I meet. Great selection. Full menu open all day. Large portions, you could easily split. Great quality food. Creative menu and dishes. Great atmosphere to hang in for a while. I had the portabella mushroom sandwich it was good they used a hole avacado on this thing! My only personal criticism would be that everything is such a large portion and piled on so high that you lose that nice balance flavor profile. But thats just me some ppl love Monsterous sized dishes, they certainly appeal to the eye.

A wonderful menu with an international flair! It might take 15 minutes or longer to decide what to order--the variety is amazing. Crepes galore! For meat lovers, order "the Burger." It is an excellent $10 burger with cheese and avocado and grilled onions. Their onion rings are perfectly light and flakey. This is a neighborhood restaurant, serving Land Park and Curtis Park at 24th Street & 2nd Ave. Breakfast is served everyday to both local and tourist crowds. Dogs are welcome

Good food, very nice personnel, easy to park, comfy couches. They brought our hot drinks first so the wait for the crepes for another several minutes did not feel long. The place has high ceilings and good enough air conditioning so its comfortable here even on a hot day. We will come here again.

A jewel. Very cool staff; good, sometimes great beers on tap, nicely chilled wine and prosecco :) I love the mushroom burger; in fact, every one I have been here with has thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience; whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. But, shhhhh keep this place a secret.

The servers seem to be genuinely friendly, courtesy and caring. They are nice people. But significant problems with the service are all too frequent. There are excessive delays and the food is not always what was ordered. We keep going back always hoping the service will improve.

Very cool place. Its Sunday and Tower Cafe had a line a mile long. So we just came down the street to Cafe Dantorels and were pleasantly surprised to see a friendly staff, an amazing menu up front with a wide variety of creative choices to pick from for breakfast lunch or dinner!

been here a few times over the past couple of years when Im visiting Sacramento. This last visit (Dec 2014) was a pleasant surprise. apparently the restaurant is under new management. I had breakfast twice and one lunch. all meals were very good. Staff is friendly as always.

Food came out warm. Apples in the crepe was not cooked. Kind of like fresh apples just chopped and put there. Potatoes were cold. Mocha was lukewarm so my boyfriend just iced it. Workers very impersonal. The only good thing here was the lemon mint cucumber infused water.

We were there for breakfast. There was a big variety of choices for everyone, from oatmeal to omelettes, crepes, and pancakes. Fresh fruit is available. Good and friendly service. It was crowded the day we were there, for good reason.

This used to be Crepeville and the menu is pretty much identical. Just new owner and name. Ive always liked the crepes here and that hasnt changed. Did friendly out door seating. Great for groups or individual dinners.

Good food. I especially like the Fuji salad and Chicken Curry Crepe. Somewhat bland chicken sandwhich. A little expensive. But still worth 5 stars because I keep coming back. Love the strawberry nutella crepe.

I went there for the first time with some friends for brunch. I ordered the Benedict put they over cooked the eggs. They were very nice about redoing them. The staff were very sweet.

Purchased the most expensive item on the menu it was unruly,..... potatoes had burnt thyme, lacked seasoning. Absolutely no balance, sauce was pathetic.
