Today I went to Eastern Auto Sales in Rosemead CA. I will NEVER go there again!! I was drawn in by the prices of high quality cars for low prices but once I got there I was appalled at the customer service and the physical condition of the cars. When I got there the owner, Linda, was on the phone and ignored me until her phone call was over. No hand motion to have a seat, no smile to let me know she cared that I was there...nothing. So after her phone call had ended I asked if I could please see a Lexus that was on the lot that I had seen on auto trader. She asked me which one and I told her, then she told me she was not sure which one it was or where on the lot it would be. She continued to hand me her inventory print out and told me that I should go find the car. At this point I was getting a little angry. I have never, at any auto dealer, been told to go find the car myself. Well I decided I was already there so ok I would go find the car. I walked onto the lot to find that none of the cars had any information listed on them, none of the cars were clean, and all the cars had terrible tires on them. I was in awe that any dealer would keep their inventory looking like that. I eventually found the car that I was looking for (it was covered in dust and dirt and needed new tires, but other than that it was in good shape), so I went and told Linda that I had found the car. Linda then dug threw a tin can of keys and pulled out the one that belonged to the car that I wanted to look at. Now here is the best part of the whole trip...after she gave me the key she said "the battery is probably dead so here is a portable battery charger so you can charge the car". I seriously thought I had mis heard her and said "excuse me" and again she repeated "the battery is dead go charge it". I have never in my life been asked to go charge a battery to the car I was interested in on the lot. I decided to be nice and say "I dont know how to charge the battery on a Lexus nor do I know how to work your portable battery charger/starter" and then she turned to me and said "you dont know how to work this, you must be dumb". So folks this is where I lost it (I thought I may be on MTVs Boiling Point) I told Linda that I had never been treated this bad in my entire life and that I can not believe how rude she was to me. I am a customer coming to spend money on a car on her lot, I drove an hour to come look at her inventory, and that since I had been there she had been on and off the phone and had been of no help to me. And this is the greatest customer service part every...her response to my statement was "I dont need your money, you can leave. Buying a car is suppose to be a pleasure not a problem. Get out." Funny Linda, you say buying a car is suppose to be a pleasure not a problem yet you didnt help the customer AT ALL, you never got off the phone the entire time your customer was on the lot, and you asked your customer to go charge the battery to the car on your lot that your customer was interested in...and to top it all off rather than admit that you had been no help at all and were very rude you decide to tell your customer that you dont need their money and that they can leave...great business model. Anyone going to look at a car or buy a car from Eastern Auto Sales in Rosemead CA....DONT!!!!!!

I called them to ask questions about their Toyota Highlanders that they have for sale. I got Linda and she was beyond rude. Being that they have over 18 Toyota Highlanders in their inventory I thought I would ask her the diference between the different year models. She didnt know and said I would have to ask the dealer. I ask her if she didnt have both models in her lot and she responded yes but that I didnt even know what I wanted. I guess knowing what you are trying to sale was asking way too much. I got news for you Linda, you now are the dealer of those 18 Highlanders and guess what I was asking you. She ended the conversation with that I didnt need to buy from her and didnt want my business all because i was just seeking information about the vehicles she was trying to sale. ABSURD!

Sure, the cars are dusty, sure this is a little place. But, you gotta love the business model: Hubby hangs out at the LA Auto Auction with his laptop, running CarFax to buy single-owner, no-accident used cars in their demographic. Theyre very receptive to having the cars inspected by your mechanic, then Wifey has her crew detail the cars, and fix any little stuff thats wrong. They still sell the cars for $500 to $1000 *under* Blue Book. Whats wrong with that? Weve bought two ~7 year old cars there, and will go back for more.

Horrible service, went there to look at cars for a potential buy, and the lady(Linda) there would not move the cars within the lot for us to test drive unless we were seriously interested in purchasing, kept asking us if we were interesting in buying or not. Cars in the lot are not well maintained, could at least hose the cars down. Not recommended, there are far better car dealers within the area that give better respect to customers then Eastern Auto
