Mike, owner of Chinese Camp Store, is a very friendly and helpful person. He has a well stocked store thats also a good place to stop for local information like maps, books. His knowledge of the area is also good. I havent been there for several years so not certain hes still the owner. I think Mike is from New Zealand and was once an auctioneer.

Great stop on the way up to Yosemite. The new owners Richard and Add are wonderful and very knowledge of the area. Clean restrooms and cold drinks, perfect.
