After weeks of research online I went in to see if I could have a Walther P22 sent to his store and how much the fees would be etc. I was amazed when he told me he could beat the lowest price I had found on the net for that pistol so of course I bought from them. In addition to being incredibly helpful and accommodating with all the paperwork necessary he actually had a few boxes of .22 ammo so I picked up three boxes and left the rest for others. I received better than I could have imagined service from Lee what he lacks in smiles he way more than makes up for in knowledge and prices and ill take that anyday!!!

Lee and the staff at The Outdoorsmen are awesome. They are always available to answer all of my questions, and i ask A LOT of questions. To the people that thought the staff was not helpful, did you talk with him? Not everyone is all bright and bubbly. When I want to talk guns with someone, bright and bubbly is not what I am looking for. This place has probably the best gunsmith on the central coast and a staff that has a huge knowledge base if guns, gun safety, and history. If you are looking for a firearm I wholeheartedly recommend this store! ~Gabe

I have purchased two hand guns from this store, and the staff, gunsmith are above the rest in the area. They are very helpful with an outstanding knowledge of the area, and guns in particular. Their prices are very competitive , the quality of their stock is great, there is no pressure on sales of their stock. Very helpful in the decision making process on what type of weapon you are in the market to purchase. I would recommend this establishment to all of my shooting buddies. Keep up the great work.

The owner, or whoever was working there was on the phone the whole time I was there and didnt not even acknowledge me until I went to the register to pay. As a small business owner he should know that the customer is his highest priority. I will never go back again. I will take my business to someone who cares.

I have not experienced any of the negative vibes the last two reviewers talked about. I go in there about once a month just to look at what he has in stock but have yet to buy a gun from him. He seems polite and friendly every time. I dont review often but think this guy is building an undeserved bad rep.

The majority of the times I have gone to this shop, I have regretted it. The owner comes across as unfriendly/suspicious, and acts like youre putting him out if you want to look at a gun. Between the internet and the other local gunshops, I dont see a need to ever darken the doors of this place again.

I have been in this store a few time. they have great prices on ammo and the people who work there were friendly enough, its a gun store, they are not going to have greeters at the door to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I plan on going there today and purchasing a handgun. It is a good store.
