Food conspiracy co-op in Tucson on 4th Avenue is a great co op and a great place to shop. Everyone is really really nice there theyve got a great selection of organic food they are a bit pricey however so as long as you know that then you know its okay going in. It got a great salad bar and hot bar every day and they always have two different kind of soup so Im always able to find something that I want to eat. And the great thing about the Hotbar is that all the food is organic really good for you they have vegan options as well as options for people who like to eat meat and tell you typically have gluten-free options or stuff thats made gluten free or gluten less so thats really good. Really great location on 4th Avenue right in the middle of everything and within walking distance of my house so thats really great thing but yeah great people great place great food great Hotbar I would definitely recommend stopping into the food conspiracy co-op on 4th and Tucson.

Truly the best place to buy organic, local produce, bulk herbs and spices, and local foods of all kinds, including prickly pear nectar, mesquite flour and locally roasted coffees. The standards are high; if Food Conspiracy doesnt stock it and cant get it, it probably hasnt made their cut. The deli is FABULOUS and the customer service is outstanding. Consistently wonderful place since we moved to Tucson in 1990. Lovely make over and expansion, but we loved the former arrangement too. Humbly submitted by a foodie and a serious chef.

I shopped there for the first time today and have never felt such a friendly atmosphere! I would drive twenty miles to shop there, because everyone seems to like their job and they carry rare and unusual spices. That huge selection of dried organic herbs and spices are hard to find at other herbal/organic markets. They are priced well too. I only bought a few items but the register personel made it feel like it was my birthday. They had a good sense of humor and I will go there now for all my herbs/tea shopping.

Walked around town for a couple of hours. This was the only place I found with smiles and a good vibe on a sunday morning. Vanessa goes out of her way to engage with each customer in a very positive manner, and very expertly handled the many strays that frequent this area. Fantastic selection of healthy food in any form. Grocery store, and buffet, and quick pre packaged meals. Very nice layout, well chosen music, they really have it all here. Thanks for saving my morning visit to Tucson!

Excellent healthy organic grocery products. Lots of wonderful fresh produce. This is a member owned cooperative grocery and that is not only awesome but revolutionary. The co-op has a small garden in which they grow some of the produce. Members of community can volunteer. Co-op supports other community nonprofits and events. Prices are sometimes out of my reach. But well thats pinche capitalism. Onward to the rbe.

After shopping at the larger natural food store chains, the coop is a refreshing, honest, and simple alternative, and has a great selection. If you private order you get even better case discounts. Wondefrul people work here, by the way, and its very pleasant to buy some fresh food in their deli section, sit outside at one of their tables on 4th Avenue, and watch the world pass by.

Great little place to shop for home, or stop in and eat. I grabbed a lunch box from their buffet where they charge by the pound and let you choose. Only thing is, I couldnt find a scale to check the weight/price of my lunch until i went up to pay. It would be helpful to have a scale, to have a rough idea as to how much i could expect to spend. Otherwise, its great.

Super nice. Located on 4th st where theres always something eye catching. Lots of organic favorites in a comfortable shop. Plenty of herbs and a great variety of loose leaf teas to choose from. Tinctures and vitamins galore. Excellent sandwich shop and mini buffet inside the store as well. Expensive but expensive is kind of synonymous with organic these days.

I do the majority of my shopping here and am a member. Excellent produce, wide selection, great customer service, convenient location. The hot bar is consistently tasty as well as the new sandwich bar. The bulk section is definitely whats up - one of the best Ive seen at any store this size. Love the co-op!

This is a marvelous grocery store full of healthy, appetizing food. I can find pretty much everything I need for the kitchen here. The staff is nice and always there to assist you. Yes, some items are expensive, but there are also a lot of great deals. Shopping here is always a pleasant experience.

Always friendly, great service! Seems like tjey really simply care about people. All types of special diet and regular food available. Literally, a one stop shop for people with food allergies or intolerances. Variety of brands too. Price is a little steep if you dont have their membership.

Someone at some point believes that much of the produce there is not organic and labels it as such (code starts with 4 rather than 9) and I tend to agree with them. When I brought it to their attention they basically just gave me a "have faith" message.

So happy this place exists, and is where it is! Staff is so friendly. Salad bar and hot food bar is great. The self serve coffee is tasty and affordable. I always buy my cat food here. Desta wraps, the jam. Tempeh BLT, also solid. Yay for co-op!

This is a gem of a place on 4th Avenue. Everyone Ive met who works there is very nice and helpful. Lots of options for those with alternative dietary preferences. For local, organic produce, its comparable or less expensive than farmers markets.

Pricey, but reliably fresh, organic, and fair trade food and products. Great salad and hot food bar and fresh sandwiches. Absolutely worth being a member to support a local non-profit, and your membership gets reimbursed in just a few years.

The hot bar is always good and offers vegan options along with a full salad bar and take home snacks too. Great selection of beverages and you cant beat being able to walk down fourth ave and have some fresh fruit to pick up and eat close by

I first patronized the Food Conspiracy Co-Op when I was in graduate school at the UofA in the early 1980s. It has changed a bit, but its focus has not. Its still a great place to get healthy conscious foods and drink. Highly recommended.

I like the deli items and the hot food and salad bars. They have a lot of hard to find specialty grocery items. Buying in bulk is great here. The produce is ok, mostly local. It is a bit pricey compared to sprouts or Safeway.

I do not hate this great co-op! I obviously hit wrong letter. Or two. Thank you Tucson for welcoming this great co-op. We so need them. Keep up the good work. My life does not work well with out a community co-op.
