For anyone not wanting to read the whole thing: Going to see Steven at Crucial Computers is a wise investment. He is direct and honest, and knows what he is doing. You will know what you need and what youll get, and both of which will be the same thing. Youll get the most of what you pay for. He was even willing to help me after the sale, offering advice and pointers on what to do with my PC next to ensure my satisifaction. Will revist in the future. My story begins at a different computer store back in around August of 2015. I went to InSync Computers and paid $1600 for my first Gaming PC. Im very green, and its hard to remember all the technicial details of this stuff (To make a long story short, I was shafted hard. I intend to put a detailed and scathing review on Google for that later, but in short I got a box of tech worth less than a thousand, that couldnt even play games from 2013 at a reasonable quality, and my demands for a proper GPU was met with months of waiting and more letdown and lies. By Febuary of this year I was all but done, and trying my damnest not to go an punch that guy in the face. Cut to April where I set out to find a honest Computer shop, with a budget of 500 to replace my graphics card and make a few other adjustments. I first came to Steven and Crucial Computers after sending him a message inqury on his site regarding my computer situation and he asked me to bring it in for a consultation. I hadnt intended to do business then and there. But his knowledge, willingness to elaborate on technicial details I barely grasped, and patience with me and my multiple questions/confusions (depsite having a considerable cold and looking rather drained.) made me feel comfortable enough to choose him for my upgrades. What especially did it for me was the total transparency of our transaction. Steven was totally honest and open the whole time. I knew exactly what I was paying for, at what price, and why. $292 dollars of my 500 budget went to the parts he needed. I got a $200 GPU (he originally planned to put in a gtx 760 4gb, but went out of his way and found a deal on a MSI GTX 960 2gb OC for $200. I also got G-Skill Ripjaws brand 16gb ram (8gb x2) for $75, and a side fan to blow cool air directly on my GPU for $17. The parts were ordered the same day I came in, and were delivered within 3 days. He installed these, plus reorganized my wires (some of which hadnt been plugged in), and properly set in the motherboard (the standoffs werent in the right spots), and dusted out everything. It took him around 3 hours to get it all done, and he charged a reasonable rate of $65 an hour for his services. All in all I paid $480, well within my budget, and got my computer back from him within a week. Its been about a month since then. Havent played a real variety of games, mostly Fallout 4. But Ive played at high to ultra quality for hours at a time with barely any dips in the frame rate (There have been a few drops, but my room doesnt have the best ventlation and Im gaming for literally 4-8 hours at a time) Im doing 1080p fps easy, and it can handle pretty much anything at medium to high quality. Cant really go past 1080p fps, but then again my machine isnt built to. Stevens also given me support after the sale. He showed me what upgrades I should go with next, mainly a new CPU cooler to allow overclocking. He also showed me a way to control the speed of my fans directly, and was willing to help me optimize the settings of my games. Ive yet to exploit these though (Ive got ADHD and Aspbergers, and between work, life, and etc, I honestly keep forgetting), but the fact that hed go that far for me speaks volumes about his dedication to his customers satisifaction. All in all, Steven is a true and honest professional. He knows what hes doing, and youll know what hes doing. I got everything I wanted within a reasonable price range, and have had no real discernable problems with my computer since then. I will recommend him to everyone I know and give a damn about everytime.

I received my brother in laws 2 year old gaming PC as an upgrade and gift from my 5+ year old PC. In order to get the PC into tip top shape for video editing I thought it would be best to give Crucial Computers a shot as their reviews are incredible and the location is close by in Greenfield. I spoke with Steve via email and text the weekend before I dropped off my PC, this element of communication was wonderful and proved to me that this business was already invested in serving my needs and wants for this computer. I dropped off my PC to Steve and he immediately diagnosed what was causing my PC to have some error issues and lag when editing video. Steve suggested, did not push, but suggested I get a new hard drive as the drive I had was almost 3 years old and was not suitable for what I wanted to accomplish with my PC. All in all Steve replaced the hard drive and in addition provided me with a wireless USB adapter, cleaned out my tower, rearranged all the wires, ensured the fan was working properly and provided me with the latest version of Photoshop to use for editing my video/pictures from my GoPRO. All of this was completed in under 2 days while simultaneously keeping my up to date via text with the progress of my PC. Steve also was flexible with the drop off and pickup times as he frequently allowed me to come by after closing to drop off the tower or just to talk about what I wanted during his off hours. Steve is transparent, approachable and able to communicate the most complex or simple PC issues to you in a professional and easy to understand fashion. For future PC needs and or upgrades I will definitely be giving Steve and Crucial computers my business. Do not hesitate to give this business a chance to do the same for your needs.

My home office computer was beginning to shut itself off after booting up and running for about 20 minutes. It was quite disconcerting because this computer contained my most important files and accounting software from the last 15 years. I called Crucial Computers and spoke to Steve. He asked me bring the computer down. I thought I would just drop it off and that it would take a few days to get back. Steve ran diagnostics right there on the spot and determined my hard drive was starting to go bad. Because the computer was old and technology has changed so much, so quickly, a new compatible hard drive had to be ordered so I left it there. Steve ordered the new hard drive, and amazingly was able to clone my old hard drive information onto the new hard drive and get the unit back to me the very next afternoon. It is exactly as it was before. Its a beautiful thing. I am extremely impressed by the knowledge and attention to detail to Steve provided. Not only did he fix the unit, but thoroughly cleaned it and examined it. He found a capacitor on the motherboard that was starting leak and pointed it out to me. It was something I never would have seen myself. He warned me that the board could go bad. I decided to use this newly repaired computer for a little longer, however I am definitely going to have him build me a new computer in a few months. I am extremely grateful and impressed.
