Had 2 tires mounted on a new set of wheels, was told the price to mount a PAIR of tires was $25. After dropping them off and waiting a day to get them back they called me saying that they needed to order intertubes for $15 a piece and it would take a week to receive. After saying I was coming to pick up the wheels and tires to take them somewhere else suddenly the tubes were going to be in the next morning. When I finally was able to pick them up the total was way over what was originally told to me on the phone, The tubes were $15 for the back and $28 for the front, also was charged $6.99 per wheel to have them take the tire back off after they realized they needed tubes on them. When I brought up that the original service writer told me very different prices on everything listed I was ignored and told that these were the original prices and they didnt know who would tell me different. To avoid a problem and to finally get my wheels back I paid nearly $120 to mount two tires and waiting over 2 days to get the work done. I would suggest taking your bike to Iron Pony or Ask and making the extra drive to avoid The Powerstore service department.

Not the best experience i have had. Feeling a little sting from my dealing with the powerstore service department. Took a gold wing in for timing belts, brake issues mainly rear brakes. Told them to also do a tune up while they had it. Was giving an estimate for the work, plus parts and was told they would do a multi point inspection of the bike as well to see if other any other issues. Here is the sting, during the inspection, they did find other issues, one of which was the detailed problem with the rear brakes. The cost for the additional issues was almost twice as much as my original estimate and would be in addition to my original estimate. Had they told me about the other issues they found BEFORE they did the easy tune up, I would have opted to not due the tune up and had the brake work done instead. I know i did tell them to do the work, but wish they would have done the inspection FIRST, then called and discuss how to proceed. Lesson learned on my part.

I drove 181 miles (Oct 4, 2014) from east of Pittsburgh to John Hinderer Honda Powerstore. I agreed on the price of the motorcycle over the phone before making the drive. Once I got there, the sales team had the motorcycle washed and ready for my test drive. The condition of the bike was as stated and the price I paid was reasonable comparing to other bikes on the market and my reviews on vehicle pricing websites. Completing the deal was very straightforward and the people I dealt with from the sales manager, sale person, finance manager, and service were all very professional, courteous, did not pressure me, and were very accommodating. The store itself was very nice, clean, and there were a lot of new/used bikes to peruse. The only bad part of this experience was driving 181 miles back home in low 50s rainy weather and 20-25mph wind gusts. I would recommend and buy from this dealership again. Thank you !!!!

Shady and dishonest! - I went to look at a Burgman that was posted for sale only to find that the bike was in for service and not really for sale for another week. They agreed to a price for my trade but when I showed up to buy it they said they needed to appraise it instead of using NADA or KBB. They told me the brake fluid was "dark" and started looking through a paper book for "adjusting the value" value because they didnt want to give me what they said on the phone an hour before to get me to come in. I told them I wanted some proof of insurance if they wanted to test ride mine off of the companies premise since they made me do the same for theirs. They not only refused but actually refused to sell to me at all! (Talk about discrimination) They got very angry when I demanded all documents with my personal information on them back. Steer clear! This place is horribly shady.

Bought a motorcycle from here and had bad experience after bad experience trying to get them to honor warranties and promises such as providing me with a owners manual that was missing at time of purchase and fixing honda OE saddlebags. The only saving grace I experienced at this dealer was the parts dept. Everyone else was pushy, inconsiderate and only concerned about the bottom line. If you put the customer first you tend to get the same customers in the door more often as well as more word of mouth advertising. The Honda dealer west of the big city has been the complete opposite experience every way, and soon after my 4th bad experience with John Hinderer I started traveling an extra 30 minutes just to get the service a customer should receive.

Polite, Good Deals, Nice "Toys". But when it comes with worker experience.. Terrible. First they didnt know how to take a bike out of gear, then we go back to get a new chain and we tell them what size we need. I ride a 125 dirtbike. They gave me a Ranger Side-By side chain. Never going back for questions.

Went in to look at a new bike for the wife, they dont do test rides on new motorcycles. I thought this was odd. If I am going to spend $5-$15,000 on and new bike I want to test ride it first. Sorry wont be buying anything from them. Gosh I wonder if this policy applies to there car dealership as well !
