They are always helpful when possible, meaning when they are busy its hard to get help..... Saturday I found employees talk g at return area all 5 of them, yet I could not get help with a grill, thank goodness for my 11yr old son that day. Then, I was told for the free Assemble I would have to wait for person. Who comes In and does, but it seem like forever the way it was made out to be yet it would have been a day, I found out later meaning today. So I bought the wrong item needed Saturday outside my grill. Needed to return and did so today so the 4stars is for that, the guy in wheelchair working is amazing and always helpful I wish I would have got a name instead of saying guy in chair. But thank you, Home depot should be proud of workers like him and some other employees should look up to him for how to be and all. But other than that I love home depot for most of my hardware project items, also today this gentlemen went about to make sure I had what I needed and help all the way through thank you so very much

Since home depot banned me from giving a review on there web site id post on here.. I bought an echo trimmer almost a year ago. The motor locked up for no reason this year and only used it twice. We dont do a lot of trimming and we used the right oil and fresh gas. Home depot told us to bring it in cause they have had problems and recalls on them.. Which after it was sent out they didnt back that statement up..We dropped it off and they kept it for a week before sending it out. The manufactor contacted us and told us it was out of warranty by a week. So we would have to pay for the repairs which they told us 189.00. The trimmer is 149.00 new.. Now the warranty for residential use is 4-5 years but after a year they told us it was out of warranty and if it will still in warranty the warranty only covers components thats not motor related. Now i still shop there but custmor relations needs to be better. Im not trying to say not shop or do business there but just be buyer aware..

My wife and I went into Home Depot (West Broad #3819 - Columbus Ohio) last night to pick out counter tops. We had out three sons with us, all 5 years old or under. I just want to tell you what an exceptional job that your team did last night. Honestly I do not have all of their names but there must have been 6-7 people who helped us in the hour we were there. Shelly provided us excellent service on our placing our order. Another team member immediately gave our sons stickers (teenage mutant ninja turtle stickers at that! they were thrilled!). One team member just talked with out sons helping to keep them distracted from the monotony their parents dragged them into. Another team member offered coloring books to our sons to help keep them calm. It is not easy to keep a 5, 3 and 20 month old boys calm for over an hour but your team did it and it made our buying experience terrific. We were incredibly thankful and will be coming back for our next big purchase! Thank you.

I have shopped at this particular location for many years their service has always been hit and miss. Over the past year from this location as usual the wife and I spent a lot of money buying such things as a shed, building materials etc.. we average at minimum 1 to 2 visits per month The last few times I had been to this location their overall customer service has went down hill. I could only find one guy to help in the hardware section he was tied up with another customer. I went to the girl working at the u-scan (there was only myself and another customer at this particular time) to ask if anybody else could help find an item (screws). According to the girl at the u-scan only one person in the whole store knew about screws and it was the guy who was too busy to help. This whole big store with me and like one other customer, Can you imagine a hardware store with only one staff member who knows about screws. Get it together people.

Your typical Home Depot store. It has just about anything you could want to build something or to maintain your house and yard. Like most HD stores, this is one is very large , and you could end up doing a lot of walking if the things you want are on the opposite sides of the store. This particular store is fairly easy to get in and out of and is close to the interstate. I dont know if the place is understaffed or its just because its a spreadout store, but sometimes I find it difficult to find someone to help me find what Im looking for. However, the employees have always been cheerful and helpful and usually walk me right to the spot where the item is.

The only time Ive had good customer service is when we are in need of an appliance. Hands down best section. God forbid I need something minor. The staff seems bothered by questions and Ive been waiting on a call for an item they are "working so hard to locate" for 2days! Forget the fact it says you have 13 in Stock. How do you miss place 13 of the same exact item? 2days wasted, makes the extra 5 bucks at Lowes almost worth it. At least Ill get assistance and not be put off to the side for 50mins.! Lowes is more expensive but its worth the ease of the shopping trip and the peace of mind!

I was greeted by the store manager as I shopped today; he directed me to the proper area for my purchase and I was immediately given assistance when I arrived. An associate measured and cut my wood purchase to the proper lengths. I have always been greeted and assisted when I visit this store. The employees are sincere but no over kill. I really like the Behr paint products. I will not shop anywhere else for my home needs. The store manager has his house in order and I appreciate the good customer service.

This place has the worst people in the tool rental department. They have become nazis when it comes to renting something here. Had something reserved for one of my workers and they were completely out of line with him even after he secured the rental... I will personally go out of my way to never go to this store again for anything. This is not the first time they have been this way. Plenty of other places to go.. You people will realize this one day when you are closing your doors.

Worst service ever. Took a drill to be fixed. Brushes blew first time i used it. Took it back to be fixed. Never got a call. Got a letter went to pick it up and they had gotten rid of it.......talked to a manager said they tried to call but phone was "disconnected" ....its a company phone its never disconnected. Manager was going to look into it and call me.....never heard back. I will spend our 6 figure annual business at lowes instead.
