DO NOT GO HERE! I know you will always get one disgruntled customer at any place, but this goes way beyond a moronic issue of “I couldn’t find any frames I liked”. This was the second visit that my husband and I have had at this SVS location., this one was a completely different, and awful, story. We saw a doctor that we didn’t see last time, maybe the one this time was just the weekend doctor? I went in because I was experience some issues that I wanted to address with the doctor. At the beginning of the exam he didn’t bother to ask the typical doctor opening line of ‘so, what brings you in today?’ Not saying he had to word it like this, but that usually opens up the lines of communication for expressing concerns. This wouldn’t have been too bad if he would have asked a similar question later, but at no point did he bother to ask anything along these lines. So I had to take it upon myself at the end to try and ask my questions/express my concerns. To EVERY SINGLE ONE of my questions he just completely ignored it or gave a response that didn’t have anything to do with what I asked. The worst one was when I brought up that I had worn contacts a few years ago and was experience the same issues that led me to have them prescribed back then, and wanted to discuss if this was an option etc. As a patient you would expect to have the doctor listen to your entire question/explanation and then discuss the issue and what they would recommend (even if it wasn’t what you were expecting). No, not this doctor. He literally laughed at me and told me what I used to have wouldn’t have helped me back then, or now. To which not only did I feel stupid for asking a simple question, but I got angry because how dare a doctor, that I’ve never seen before, presume to tell me that something I was using didn’t help me. I know my body, and I know what helps and what doesn’t. Furthermore, during my actual exam he was flipping through the different options “is 1 or 2 better?” etc. I tried to explain to him that I could read the letters but they were really blurry/out of focus. To which the only response I received was “yes, but can you read them?” Umm yes, I can use common sense to deduce what letter that squiggle should be, but that doesn’t mean that I can see it clearly! At the end of the exam and he tells me that my prescription has barely changed and I don’t really need new glasses but he guesses I can get them if I want. Ok, I can see how in some circumstances prescriptions wouldn’t necessarily change that much but there is no need to make me feel like I’m a 7 year old coming in wanting glasses just because ‘all my friends have them’. After this he told my husband that his prescription hasn’t changed at all (in the past 2 years, yeah right). As I am looking at frames we hear the 2 other patients come out that went in right after us, both said that the doctor told them the exact same thing about their prescriptions. Which I just find statistically unlikely that 4 patients in a row would have little to zero change in their prescriptions over the course of 1-2 years. Needless to say I left without purchasing a new pair of glasses. Luckily I found a different doctor to go to and had that exam today. What an “Eyeglass World” of difference! The doctor I saw today was SO much better, didn’t laugh at any of my questions or make me feel stupid for asking! Plus he told me that I need to be wearing glasses all the time because my eyes are being strained, partially due to an astigmatism in my right eye (I was having a lot of difficulty with that eye and I attempted to bring this up to the doctor at SVS and got blown off). Two things here, the doctor at SVS never mentioned that I had an astigmatism and he also told me that my glasses were strictly for reading. Guess which doctor I believe. Please save yourself the time and money and do not go to here. I apologize for the long review but I would like to save someone else from the frustration if at all possible!

I wouldnt even give them a star if I didnt have to! I bought 120$ ray bans from svs vision for my three year old son. This is his first time ever having glasses they fell off of his face and the dog grabbed a hold of them my son had them for two days and theyre completely ruined and SVS vision is telling me I have to pay another $60 in order for him to have glasses again so I paid $120 for him to wear glasses for two days. I was told there was a warranty thinking if something like this happened they would gladly fix the problem but no that was a lie they will pay 70% even if it was 2 days of having glasses, they dont take care of their customers, they dont take care of anything if accidents happen, all they want is more money. Go somewhere else especially if its for a child.

I brought my child in for a vision test it was the biggest waste of my time they didnt even bother to check her they put the spoon thing over each eye and asked if she could see any letters then told me she needs to see someone else. Mind you Ive also taking my other child in for an eye exam at another vision place like this and they were a million times more helpful it felt like svs didnt even want to do the exam because she was a child. Jerk. (The lady at the front desk was very nice though I will give them that as for the doctor ha no way)

Very poor customer service. Never received a call when my contacts were in. Jessica claims they have been trying to call and leaving voice mails but they have not. When I was at my appt I waited forever without much acknowledgement from anyone. The Dr was rude. The only person with good customer service was the woman who checked me out. Jessica is very rude on the phone and never.apologized.

I walked in to make an appointment, and got ont tjat very dsy. The Doctor did a very thorough exam, explaining everything. The tech helped me select frames, and also explained coatings well. My glasses arrived much earliervrhan expected, and the person who fit them also very experienced and provided good advice to maintain my purchase.

You sat for over an hour and half waiting for someone to help me finalize my checkout; all the meanwhile there were three employees to the one customer they were actually helping. The other two employees were making personal phone calls and talking about the pork chop/scallop potato dinner they had planned. I walked out.

I was well treated by the staff, they are very nice and cheerful when i stop in for small problems. They worked with me trying a new type of contact, having me come in until i could take them out comfortably.
