First off I want to start off with the great things Gardner White have done. The initial customer service in store was great and the sales person was great. Also the first customer delivery was great, the deliverers were fast, friendly and cared about my product. Unfortunately these are the only good things I can say about my experience at Gardner White. When I made a very large purchase ($4400) from Gardner White I was very excited to get my new furniture. Unfortunately a piece of the couch I purchased was on back order and was told that it would be in a week, which is fine. I was told that as soon as the item got in I would be given a call to schedule a delivery. I called on 3/8/17, 3 weeks from my purchase, due to me being concerned that this is taking a lot longer than the 1 week estimate I was given. The lady said that the item was in stock. I told her “okay, someone was supposed to call me when you did, I have been waiting on this piece for 3 weeks”, she did not say sorry or show no remorse or anything. I scheduled the furniture to be delivered 3/9/2017 in the morning, she said okay and everything seemed fine. The next morning came along and I received no email or phone called detailing my delivery which usually Gardner White delivery team does. I called and was informed that the furniture was being sent out on the afternoon. Being a young adult I employ myself with 2 jobs, leaving me with not a lot of free time. I told her that this won’t be possible because I work that afternoon and for delivery to be scheduled 3/11/2017 since I will have some free time then but if anything changes I will call back. I decided to call off my work that day in hopes that the furniture will be able to be delivered. I call that day 3/9/2017 at 12:20 and talked to a service representative to see if I could get a 4:00 PM delivery. She said that it will be okay and my delivery will go out that day at 4:00 PM and that I will get a phone call. 5:00 PM came around and didn’t receive a phone call or email. I called Gardner White and was given the information that my delivery was not on the truck and would not be delivered today. So not only did Gardner White waste my time by screwing up my delivery times and delivery, they also wasted my money from me calling off work and not delivering my furniture still. We scheduled for my furniture to be delivered at a later date during the week, I am very doubtful that my furniture will still be delivered at this newly scheduled time. I wonder how much money you have to spend at Gardner White until they see value in a customer, because apparently $4400 isn’t enough. I am very disappointed with Gardner Whites communication with their internal employees and very disappointed with their reliability to come through with a delivery service that they offer and that you pay for as a customer.

hesitant to write a review before our custom order comes in, scheduled for 8-10 weeks, but REALLY wanted to offer some practical advice for others to hopefully benefit from.. our experience so far has been pretty good.. Ive always liked the selection at gardner white and their sales are very appealing. THATS where you have to be careful.. their advertising is very misleading. Be REALLY careful of "package" deals.. figure out the price you would pay buying each item separately. you get nothing free in a package deal.. you are paying for it. Im mad at myself for taking it at face value, Im usually much smarter than that. Basically we bought the living room "package" deal to get $600 in "free" furniture because we were buying a mattress set as well and didnt really need tvs. something didnt sit right with me so the next day, unfortunately, I added it up separately and we paid $792 for our $600 in free furniture. when we went back the next day to ask about this, they gave us a $100 discount on the $350 sofa table we forgot to add.. that means we still paid $92 extra dollars for "free" furniture (also paying for the initial $600 we thought was free!) .. also, the tv and salespaper ads make it sound like you can get 10% off and they pay the sales tax AND you can get up to 5 years interest free financing depending on how much you spend (the print ad says "plus" and "save again with").. well we spent almost $5000 but, apparently, its discounts OR interest free financing.. would be really helpful to know that going in. my rating is 3 stars because 1) our salesperson, Jessica was really nice, patient and honestly seemed to have our best interest at heart.. I told her they need to train the salespeople to be aware of the pricing details so the customers dont feel ripped off after they get home and realize how it adds up.. again, my fault? obviously they dont want the customers to be anywhere near sharp or their salespeople to help them realize the scam, and 2) the delivery notices and delivery men have been spot on so far.. we knew when the furniture would arrive and it did and the delivery guys were very careful moving things in, even so much as to pinch his fingers when getting the box spring upstairs to avoid damaging our freshly painted walls. Overall, Ive learned a lesson here.. too bad we dont make major furniture purchases all that often. I hope its helpful to others.

I purchased my sons $2000 bedroom set on 2/10/16. Had it scheduled for delivery on 2/19/16. Furniture came and everything was incorrect. I called the Taylor store n talked to one manager n was supposed to get a call back and never did. Called back up there to find out he was gone for the day so explained everything to the next manager. He claimed everything was correct now and I would take delivery today 2/20/16. I made sure to go over the entire order with the manger to make sure it was correct this time. Called this morning cause I never received my call between 7 and 9 to find out I had no order/delivery in the system. Proceeded to call back up to Gardner White and this time I got my original sales person who apologized and told me since the bed was put in wrong and the one I wanted was $100 more they would waive that amount and then told me that my order was in for today (said it was put in the day before by the manager) and sometimes the systems from the sales office to the warehouse take a long time to feed over. I then asked if I call the delivery back they will tell me the same thing about the systems and I was told yes. Of course I hung up and called delivery back and the person I spoke with said no it takes 15 to 20 minutes. They looked up my order and said it was just put in and scheduled for the second route (so the sales person flat out lied!). Now I needed to wait between 3 and 4 to get my 3 hr delivery time window. Never got that call so called delivery and found out systems were down (ok I get that cant be prevented so not a big deal) and no one could get a time frame window. Basically sit and wait for the driver to call. Now I waited until 830pm to call hoping systems were back up and they were. Found out my window was between 9pm and 12am.....ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Thankfully drivers came at 9. O but the best part is the order was still WRONG! Now I have to go up to the place tomorrow to get it all straightened out. Im so pissed off and to corporate NO I dont want $100 gift card to your store. The Taylor store needs to make this right and just not by waiving $100 off of the bed they screwed up in the first place. Sincerely a very dissatisfied customer!
