I called Town & Country to ask for ballpark prices on truing a wheel vs. replacing a bent wheel. The woman who answered seemed bothered by my questions and almost sounded condescending. I decided to bring the wheel in so they could look at it, in hopes that maybe her attitude was just a misunderstanding due to being on the phone vs. in person. I was wrong... When I walked in, there was a woman behind the counter who greeted me after a couple minutes. I explained that my rim was either bent or out of true, and that I needed help determining which was the case. She looked at it briefly and said it just needed a little truing. Their pricing to fix it was much higher than others I had called. I explained that I was not prepared to leave it today, and that if I returned, it would be after payday. She immediately started talking down to me, asking why I brought it in if I could not afford to fix it. There was a gentleman behind me who, while I was talking to the woman, stated that he, too, had a bent rim and planned to buy a new wheel, tire, and tube. Once the woman decided I wasnt worth her time, she ignored the fact that I was standing in front of her with a couple questions to ask, and began talking to the guy behind me. Had she been friendly with even a hint of good customer service in her blackened soul, I would have probably just gone ahead and had them fix it that day (except they couldnt get it done that day. There is a 2 day wait for a minor wheel truing). Instead I left and brought it home to try my hand at truing it myself. As it turns out, I was able to get it mostly fixed myself except that there is a flat spot on the rim. I guess Ill be buying a new wheel elsewhere.

I spent 4 days there, in and out of the shop and OTTO was amazing. All customers loved him and he is an encyclopedia of useful information as to vintage parts and what is up and coming. Great reasonable pricing and amazing service makes this legendary store a must see when you are in town. I would even recommend before you purchase parts anywhere to call them about availability. These professional know how to fix and maintain all kinds of cycles from the regular to the professional competition and touring cycles. They have all the information on special events for cyclists such as "A DAY IN THE COUNTRY" where you are taken to a beautiful route out in the country for a whole day bike ride. These events are well choreographed to insure everyones enjoyment. They have people in trucks that will pick you up if you are tired or your cycle cannot be repaired with what you brought or they have. I recommend this shop to one and all! -Will Salas

I have been to this bike shop half a dozen times to look at bikes and buy parts for my vintage road bike (they have the parts in stock and they are more than reasonably priced! IMO). I have never been disappointed with the service. The staff has a great attitude and I rarely feel like they are trying to sell me something. They usually have a nice selection of reasonably priced used bikes, I would recommend checking them out! P.s. There is an old man that works here most of the time who is very passionate about bikes, you will learn a lot if you talk to him, but dont be afraid to tell him you need to go! This is not a downside, just a side note. This is the absolute best bike shop I have been to! 5/5 would recommend to a friend.

Bought a bike there years ago and it was a very good quality bike at a very good price. Went back decades later on a Groupon tune up deal and they were fast and efficient. The bike need work and I really got my moneys worth on that deal. A few parts were needed but once again, the price was reasonable. No attempt at up selling or overcharging like some bike shops that fantasize they are selling and working on Ferarris. I would definitely recommend this bike shop. Ended up bringing three bikes in once I found them so reliable and fast. Its not local to me but I went out of my way since they do good work. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent service at Town and Country bikes. I went in because I needed a few parts replaced since they were worn out. The man told me exactly what was wrong and was very honest, he did not try to sell me stuff I didnt need. He fixed everything and the bike rides better than brand new. I couldnt recommend Town N Country Bikes enough. P.S Excellent Price Too!

Called to ask about price to make adjustments to my mountain bike. Guy on the phone was polite, respectful and quoted very reasonable price. Went to the shop and met the young man who answered the phone. He did what was asked, got me in and out quickly, charged what he quoted me, and was personable on top of it.

The guy behind the counter, Otto, is the most knowledgable, friendliest bike shop worker ever. Old bikes, new bikes, he can fix it all or give you a great deal on something he has in stock. No need to go anywhere else.

Cash only. Informed me when he gets a card machine itll be an additional 3%. Charges double what you can buy online for things. Simple jobs like freewheel removal costs 10 dollars. Guy is an idiot. Wont go there.
