This review is STRICTLY ABOUT THE AUTOMOTIVE CENTER EMPLOYEE NAMED MIKE. We went there today thinking we needed the car battery replaced. But they did their test to determine if it really needs to be replaced and it turns out it did not needed to be replaced. So they suggested there might be an alternator problem (which they do not do). As we were heading out to another automotive shop Mike came out to show how to test at home if it is truly an alternator problem from which he discovered that the problem is in the battery terminals, which the first technician did not bother checking, in fact he lied that he did check that. Anyways MIKE went above and beyond and fixed the problem for us. Mike was an really HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS, CARING AND HARD WORKING individual. We called the store to tell them how happy we were about this service. And it took them 35min to tell us that the store manager is gone on vacation and also the 3rd person finally taking our feedback sounded like she even cared what we had to say. We asked her how was this going to be passed onto the manager and she simply answered via e-mail. I did not believe her.

Im not a huge fan of this particular Walmart. The biggest issue is the lack of self-checkout lane; as in, there are none. So the lines will be long every visit. If you ever have to go to the Customer Service department, expect a very long line there as well. Luckily, I dont have to use the services of this department often, but I always notice a lengthy line there as I pass it. 70% of the time I go to Walmart, its for something in their Electronics department. This department may be one of the shining spots of the store, since the selection is pretty good and the items are displayed in a way that takes little time in locating what I need. The staff usually doesnt know anything, from a technical perspective, about what is on their shelves, so just be prepared to do your homework before walking in the door. The rest of the store is par for the course; nothing great, but not horrible.

I have had the chance to experience on multiple occasions dealing with Ms. Penny on how customer service is perfected. On one occasion I was looking for a amplifier and stereo misc and I seen a amplifier on line and after walking down the isle several times was unable to find it. Ms Penny asked me if I needed help and told her what I was looking for and she helped looked, stated sometimes stuff online is not available in store, and even went to the back and found one that was an alternative to the one I was looking at online and actually this one is better (quality/size)than the one I was looking at online. Sine then I always look for her when shes not busy as always trying to give customers the best shopping experience possible.if I have any questions and she has always been able to help me the best way she can. I would highly recommend this store and Ms Penny for all your needs.

I live in Belleville and shop here 6 times a mnth at least. Never going back!! Spoiled chicken meat, rude employees, long waits & to top it off, bought Bob Evans plain mashed potatoes in the deli section area... i got food poisoning and severe pain along with cramps and horrible diarhhea for 4 days. I suffer from a chronic illness and this about killed me. I repirted this to the Belleville store and the lady manager was abrupt and rude. Horrible way to treat a recurrent shopper!!! I will not be back. Take my business to Meijers or Krogers instead. Posted on Facebook and informed my friends and family. Notifying headquarters and Detroit news. Bad bad business getting people sick. I am disgusted.

Customer service has never been good here, but been getting progressively worse over the last few months. Recalled items are not removed from the shelves. Speaking of shelves they are only about 50% full on a good day. The associates dont care and management cares less then the associates do! I use to work at this location 4 years ago and I am shocked by the lack of respect from the entire staff. God forbid you call about something, the only person that you will talk to is the phone operator. Your better off going down the street to the Michigan ave store, the employees are just as rude but at least their shelves are full and their management at least pretend to care about the customer

I was recently in the store on 05-20-17. We went to the deli department for some lunch meat. I waited for at least 10 minutes, three workers were within plain view of me just talking among themselves. Finally, one of the workers asked me what I wanted. I asked for a pound of krakus polish ham thinly sliced. She looked in the counter for the meat, then went in the back. There was clearly a whole unopened package of the meat I asked for in the case in front of me. She came back and said sorry were out. I then pointed to the package of ham and she told me again, they were out of the product. Couldnt believe it. I wont be back.

an employee purposely ran my cart into a wall with there giant floor cleaner after following me and cutting me off at the end of every lane i went down while my 6mth old son was in his carseat attached to the cart, then stepped up in my face threateningly yelling at me telling me to get out of his way! yea I called the police, they said he works there he can do whatever he wants?! n yup he still works there!!! poor management, never stocked, rude, threatening, stalking employees! no one who would purposely ram a cart with a baby in it into a wall should still have a job! HORRIBLE!

The deli staff and a few cashiers are nice, but overall the staff seems apathetic. Today I was verbally accosted by a beggar being a sign in the parking lot that she was out of gas. Its a little cleaner than it used to be but they keep moving everything each week, its never in the same spot week to week which is frustrating. The cashiers are the worst. There are only three who pay attention. I bring my own bags and put things on the belt in order to be packed and tell them so, but they still randomly grab things and soup ends up on top of eggs and bread.

Horrible Walmart, I refer to them as walcraP, the staff , not all, but a lot are rude, especially management, they are horrible. The lines are always long, and the stocking of items has been poor for a long time, there hasnt been one time that Ive gone there and they have all the items I need, I always end up having to go to another store. Bottom line, if I were corporate , Id get off my ass and do an over haul of Management, and start paying the staff more, because if they feel you care about them, then theyll care about their job.

The checkout lanes are the worst, ESPECIALLY if you are white. Dont expect them to say a word to you. Its been like this since Ive gone there for the past 5 years. Also, ordered a TV online right before Christmas and somehow they didnt have it when I went to go pick it up. I think an employee stole it. Followed the tracking and it had arrived at the store. Manager said it would have showed up at the register if someone wouldve tried purchasing but he said no one had. So obviously it was stolen.
