AWFUL!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE! I have been to over 20 different tattoo shops around the country (whether for myself or a friend I was with at the time) and I have never been treated so appallingly as I was at sacred heart. My cousin and I went there this weekend in hopes of getting a dainty tattoo celebrating our Turkish heritage. Seagh Mulligan was the artist that was helping us. When we described to him what we wanted, he proceeded to tell us our idea was stupid and would look more like a skin blemish than a tattoo and it wasnt worth getting. It was a small tattoo but thats why we liked it. Not only did he criticize our choice he also quoted us extremely high in our price. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to tattoos but what he asked was ridiculous. He told us then if we paid more he could make a tattoo worth having and insisted we let him sketch something up. When we described it and explained that we specifically wanted an evil eye in the tattoo(for our heritage) he told us that we should not get that but instead get a gaudy cartoon eye instead. We repeatedly told him that was not what we wanted. He still drew it up that way anyway. When my cousin started to question where she wanted it placed, again he criticized us and told her that the way she wanted was not right. (Even though I know tattoo artists know more about placement, he was just being bitchy for no reason). After this we both had bad vibes and decided to get lunch and come back after we thought about placement and what we really wanted. When we told him we would come back once we decided exactly what we wanted, he got very angry. He proceeded to yell at us and tell us that if we wanted to leave we needed to pay him right then and there. Needless to say we did not pay or go back. I plan to tell everyone I know never to go there.

Last week my girlfriend got her first tattoo here (Im not a tattoo guy, but I wanted to support her). We had been scheduled for 8pm, but we received a call ahead to say that the artist was not done with a customer and would need to push back to 9, which was fine by us. Up until that point through the booking process everything seemed good, and they had been quite friendly. Now, cue 9pm, we walk into the tattoo shop. We walk up to the counter and a dark haired girl with sandwiches tattooed on her arms is working there. Girlfriend tells her that she has an appointment that was pushed back, and girl behind the counter is VERY snooty. She asks who the artist was and when my girlfriend told her the wrong name, lady behind counter is very rude in explaining that they dont have a tattoo artist of that name (we didnt even know, the guys name was Q but she thought he was called Keith). Anyway, rude B*#$% behind counter proceeds to quiz girlfriend about tattoo and is very condescending and critical when she tells her what it was. If we hadnt booked this ahead and my girlfriend had not gotten her hopes up regarding the tattoo itself, I would have told where to stick it for being rude. This place is a business, not a hangout and as such the EMPLOYEES should behave as such. Luckily our artist Q was very nice and reassuring which did help the experience a little bit in the end. Needless to say I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Run, FAR. Im sure there is better in ATL

Awful customer service, I have been in this shop back I march/2016. The service was great the tatto artist took care of me and did a wonderful job on a tattoo that was a tribute to my mom. WELL went in today to get another tat and this guy who I asked was AWFUL, RUDE, AND JUST YUCKY LOOKING. I showed some examples, didnt want him to copy anybodys design, he got all CREATIVE ON ME, how he could not design anything right now, he just didnt want to do just anything and for me to come back on Wednesday, ok I thought I can Come back then he tells me 350, for little butterflies? Ok no problem, then he walks away from me, i ask thats it? Of course I left, he was very rude, the customer wants a tattoo and you want to make it your way not the customers? Forgot to mention NO CUSTOMERS were in the shop ??? No stars, if you dont mind being dissed by someone whos ears look like they are about to fall off this is the place for you, for me I need a little bit more especially if Im paying. Went to another tattoo artist got my butterflies and also a heart and the people were cool. Had to put a star just to post

My mom and I got matching baby koi fish tattoos yesterday from Brandon Simmons, and it was quite the experience. If you want the best, Sacred Heart Tattoo is the place to go. Brandon answered all of our questions with patience and understanding, and Ill have this treasured memory forever because of him. My mom had never gotten a tattoo, and Brandon was so kind to her. He took his time on each of our tattoos and they look immaculate; almost identical even. He took all of our nerves away and explained each step of the process and why it was done while he worked. Brandon also saw to it that both of us understood the healing process of our tattoos. My mom and I are so in love with the results already, and I am sure the feeling will only grow stronger when they are totally healed. We would give Sacred Heart Tattoo 10 stars if we could!

I first heard of Sacred Heart Tattoo, when I went and got my daith pierced and I made a mental note that when I was ready to get a tattoo, I wanted to hit this place back up. Well sure enough when I was ready I went back and had Loki, do my tattoo and it was the best experience! He was personable, knew what he was doing, made suggestions when I wasnt sure and I was totally pleased with my foot tattoo. When I get compliments I have to not only rave about my tattoo artist but the place in general! Now that Im ready to get my 2nd you better believe I will be going back to Sacred Heart! :)

I got my first two tattoos here, by Loki and Miss Bekki. Both were very professional and knowledgeable. For each tattoo, the artist told me about how my tattoo would not last in a certain spot due to the skin exfoliating or how it would have to be redrawn for it to last, whereas other parlors just told me yes, not caring whether it would last or turn out right. Both were nice and generally interested in my tattoos.

The artists at this place dont care about what their customers want. They try to talk you into doing what they want. They are rude and over priced on top of that. Worst experience Ive had. I recommend that you find some place else to get your work done. Unless you want them to put something on you that they want and or like. Maybe its because they can only create certain things. No resl talent.
