Better than great selections for cheap clothing and various other items in Phoenix. Id call it not only the largest thrift store in Phoenix but, also the best, due to the large selection of mens and womens clothing. I volunteer with mostly guys who are either in rehab or have recently been released from some type of incarceration. I can take them here and for less than $20 I can get them enough clothes for work or whatever they may need. Plus they have items such as dishes, silverware, coffee pots, lamps, and what have you. Monday seems to be the day that they mark down items. Youll find sometimes several prices on an item with the old prices clearly marked through. All in all a very good place to shop on the cheap! No place to try on clothing though and once you purchase an item you Can NOT take it back if it doesnt fit. So be aware! Thats why Ive given 4 stars and not 5! In the front of the store at the far East side they have their own small Boutique area where they have higher priced items. Such as the occasional designer shoes, jewelry, hats, and the like.

What rude people work here. I entered the store with a friend of mine looking to find a high chair. My friend being 8 1/2 months pregnant was wondering around when her baby kicked her. She tickled a little and realized she was about to pee her self. When she was embrassed she asked an employee to use the bathroom because she was about to pee herself. His response " you pee on the floor you will clean it and we will call the police your gross." I am a mother of 2 children and I would have slapped him in the face if he said it to me. I turned around and he pointed to the door like we robbed him and said "Get out". She peed herself in the parking lot. Way to go a$$hole. There are rules which should be broken. I mean I could see if I walked in with my six kids looking to use the rest room. This wasnt that case tho. And I have been a manager of walmart for 5 years and even then if the bathroom was BROKEN or out of order we would close down the mens room for women like this. Being treated like Trash is not ok. Just down right wrong.

I have been into this place a few times, usually it is over priced. (a food buffet warmer has been sitting there for quite some time, think they would get the hint that it is not worth $5000 or if it was worth that no thrift shoppers would throw down 5 grand at thrift shop for an item that has a no return as-is policy.) also anything behind there "special stuff aka unwanted junk" counter is always overpriced as well. BUT there has been a couple times I have gone in and found a little gem sitting around the store in random spots that was well worth the money.

This Place Is Not The Ideal Place To Shop. Yes, I Understand That This Is A Thrift Store That Does Receive Huge Amounts Of Traffic, But The Ambience && Customer Service Is Absolutely Terrible. There Is Usually Very Little Direction Here At This Store && Finding Someone To Direct You Through The Heaps Of Mangled Treasure Can Sometimes Be Hassle. Now On The Plus Side, I Can Say That Over A Year Ago, I Did Find A Large Suitcase That Aided Me In My Trip To Chicago && Back For $5.00 .. I Must Say That Was A Bargain && I Still Have It Till This Day.

I live in Canada and visit Phoenix quite regularly. My Uncle took me there and we enjoy shopping there and hunting for treasures. I always come home with lots of nice clothes. Had to purchase another suitcase there just to bring home some great finds. The staff are nice...we have so much fun when we go there! He often tells me about his trips there and what bargains he finds. You can have all your nice malls but not as much fun as The Indian School Thrift Store.

All the merchandise in this store is turned over every 4 weeks. They mark it down every week for 3 weeks and take it off the shelf the 4th week. Tons of great stuff. I bought my whole work wardrobe between this store and its sister store in Mesa. My only complaint - not open on Sunday. They are open late during the week. The same staff has been there since I started going a year ago and they are very nice all the time.

I thought this place was overpriced and the stuff wasnt very nice. They want $5 for broken toys with all the pieces missing? The kids clothes were more expensive than other thrifts and look worn, and there wasnt much selection either. They mostly had clothes and not much else--I like some furniture and lamps and such but there wasnt any of that.

This place charges 3 to 5 times more than any other thrift store around. It is almost always full of screaming, badly behaved, very rude kids. How about some loudspeaker announcements about keeping children from ripping the place apart in English AND in SPANISH, not just in English, as Spanish is what most of the unruly kids parents speak.

Encuentras todo lo q puede haber en las tiendas Goodwild, pero mas barato. Me gusta porque hay menos gente y muchas cosas buenas.

I bought a camera for $99.00 plus tax and it does not work. They refuse to exchange or to give a refund saying all sales are final, but the law states that if it is broken that is a breach of warranty. Store policy does not replace the law. So be careful when you shop there.

I like this store for housewares, but although they have a lovely assortment of clothing items, there is no changing area to try things on. To make matters worse, there is a "NO RETURN" policy that prevents you from exchanging things that dont fit.

This is one of the best thrift stores in town. Clean, GREAT stuff, fair prices and the employees are always nice and helpful. Dont believe the bad reviews. I am a foster Mom and shop here all the time for kids stuff and have never had a problem.

The very first time I went there I was amazed! They had brand name clothing some still with the tags on them DIRT CHEAP! This I now my favorite place to shop before I even go to a regular store. Give it a try you wont regret it.

Great prices on everything, also items are individually priced based on value of the specific item, not like Good Will stores that put one price on items of the same category no matter the individual conditions

I love it. Friendly staff, clean and neat everytime I visited. Gently used clothes in great condition. Good quality furniture at very low prices. No bathrooms though.

This is one of the better thrift stores in the area. Ive found a lot of good finds here at half the price if what other thrift stores consider a "bargain".

We go there and find great deals on everything. From baby items to household items. The prices are reasonable and customer service is great.
