I was so excited when Sprouts announced that they were opening a store in Upland. They have the freshest produce and usually for less money that the other grocery stores. They also have a nice bakery and meat counter in addition to health foods, organic everything, bulk items like nuts and cereals, and much more. Sprouts is a farmers market on steroids. The stores are always clean and have an opened layout. No cramped 2 cart wide isles with 6 foot high shelves, in Sprouts you can survey the whole store as you walk in the front door. Sprouts is located in the well maintained Upland Square Shopping Center which is on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and San Antonio Ave. Its in the same location that the old Alpha Beta grocery store occupied 40 or so years ago.

My wife and I pretty much live at Sprouts and its not unusual for us to make several stops throughout the day. It doesnt offer everything we would want, but the majority of our weekly shopping is done here. The cashiers recognize us at this point and know us for our frequent stops to get food for our bunnies. Dairy tends to be more expensive, but produce is excellent and we enjoy the bulk section which allows us to stock up on popcorn, walnuts, raisins and occasionally raid the chocolate section.

Customer service is terrible and there is always long long lines with only two cashiers at a time. Never any coffee and nothing but young kids work there and they are rude and disrespectful. Went in with my mother and was treated very disrespectfully by a cashier named Aryiana.

Logan in the deli meat counter is the best! He will recommend different meats and let me sample them before I commit to getting a whole pound. He is very good at pairing the meats and cheeses most of the time I will let him choose for me and so far hes right on!!

I walked into Sprouts today and every item I looked at was $1 to $3 more than I pay for than I pay for them elsewhere. I will NEVER shop at Sprouts again! I quit Whole Foods ripoff and now I am quitting greedy sprouts.
