One person to handle the entire deli dept. - DURING LUNCH TIME??!?!?!? Thats just crazy. If you mention anything to the clerk who handles the area, they say the same thing - Safeway corporate policy is to expect one person to handle the entire deli. OK...sometimes there are two people, but usually, one is running in the back room to fetch something, so essentially, they are down to one person at the counter. This is the most inefficiently-run operation I have ever seen. I could turn that deli around in one week. Make it profitable, 20 times more sandwiches, and have the customers walking away happy. What is wrong with you, Safeway???
